My husband and I used to frequent this place regularly. We would take friends & family when they would visit from out of town bc we loved it, & the outdoor patio ambiance was top tier. Unfortunately, the last couple times we came to this place the food & service tanked significantly. Friends of one of the servers showed up on our last visit & took control of the outdoor patio & blocked me & my husband in our corner bc they were playing musical chairs with the tables & seating. They were completely disruptive & rude, nobody came & got it under control. Our table was forgotten, the food was completely subpar & thrown together with little care, very disrespectful to sushi in itself. We got our check & cut our meal short because of how turned off we were. No apology, nothing. The price tag on this place adds up quickly, too. We found a much better replacement, have not been back, & do not intend to visit again.

My partner and I had the best little lunch date. Their covered outdoor patio is warm (staff warned us) but SO adorable, would probably be incredible in the fall or winter. The vibe inside is a perfect vaporwave dream that reminded me of Tokyo. 🌆✨ Really yummy food, especially if you're into sushi with fried things or unique vegetarian rolls. The decorative flowers made the sushi plating even more beautiful. One of the better shrimp tempura I've had in Portland, too! 🍤 I stuffed myself to the gills and regretted nothing! 🤪 I can't wait to come back and enjoy this spot again and again. 💖

They have perfected the fried roll. My friends and I come here for very celebration to fill up on their Vegas roll that is a 10/10!! The service is always so quick with refilling our water and checking in on us, we usually round in rounds and they are super quick! The rolls are affordable, we just typically order 5-6 rolls so the bill can add but it is still an amazing price!

We had some friends visiting from out of town and they love sushi! We brought them to check out Fujiyama so since we were going to an event nearby after. Service was great. We were able to sit outside and menus were brought to us as soon as we sat down. Staff was great. Everyone was so attentive and welcoming. Everything on the menu was decently priced, just like most sushi places we frequent. We had a couple appetizers and 6 different rolls, but I only took pics of a few of them. Every roll we ordered was delicious and refreshing and very packed and good portions. Will definitely stop by again if/when we are in the area! Good vibes and great ambiance. We also enjoyed the music selection they had playing for us.

We love Fujiyama. We have been craving the baked Crab roll since we moved out of Oregon five years ago and it was a priority on our list to stop in for some when we came back to town for a visit. Still just as delicious as ever!
Plated beautifully, tastes great, service is good and friendly. They've also added an outside eating structure that looked quite cozy.
Reliably good sushi and great service for a reasonable price. No sushi track at this location currently, but the service is fast, so it's still very convenient.
