Fuller's Coffee Shop is a well-known breakfast spot in Portland that offers a quick, efficient, and friendly dining experience. Despite the often crowded atmosphere, the dedicated staff ensures prompt seating and speedy service, delivering meals in under 15 minutes. The menu features delicious sandwiches and classic breakfast fare, including homemade bread and fantastic French toast, all at reasonable prices. The service is consistently kind and attentive, creating a welcoming environment. While the atmosphere is basic, with just a counter and chairs, the small-town charm and excellent food make it a popular choice, even for families. However, the establishment does not accept larger bills or mobile payments, requiring the use of credit cards.
Customers praise the great value, with one reviewer feeling "a little embarrassed the bill was only $12.50 before tip." The menu includes classic diner items like pigs in a blanket, fishwich, Reuben, and potato deluxe, all with generous portions and high-quality ingredients. Reviewers highlight the made-from-scratch corned beef hash, perfectly crispy hash browns, and friendly, funny wait staff, creating a "delight all around" experience.
