We were staying by at a nearby hotel and came across this restaurant for breakfast. The owner (I believe) was SO friendly and welcoming that it made us want to come back every day. The food was also delicious and tasted flavourful which made the overall experience a 5/5. Highly recommend.

Most lunch options are stellar. The tacos far exceeded my expectations while the specials and generous portion salmon are regular orders. I prefer the plates as the salads are very lettuce-heavy.
Where they falter is with breakfast. Well, maybe just the chicken fried steak. Surprisingly, it was one of those prefab cuts, and the white gravy was Heinz-like watery.
Oh, well no more breakfast there for me. That said, the staff is so friendly and fast. An excellent spot overall.

I’m visiting from out of town and it is clear that this is a favorite spot for the locals. The service is impressively fast, and the staff are warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. I tried the octopus salad and it was tender and flavorful; I barely put my fork down it was so tasty. I’d definitely go back. A great spot for a relaxed, high-quality meal.

Came in for a quick lunch on a Monday. Not from around the area just working. Amazing service. I mean they actually care about your food. Beef brisket and salad ordered. Was under 20 bucks. Looks fantastic and taste amazeballs. Best salad lettuce ever. Do it ... Do it now

Everything I've ever eaten here has been excellent, until it wasn't. Beef Stroganoff with diced dill pickles in it? Totally overpowered the dish. The creamy sauce tasted like drinking pickle juice. Had Stroganoff in many places/countries, never have I seen or heard of such silliness!

Very busy restaurant near the river downtown Portland. I got the shrimp burrito and it was very filling and good. It came with a small salad. You walk in, try not to get confused by the gathering waiting to get their food to go and order at the counter, then seat yourself. Everyone was friendly. Reasonable prices.
