This is a tucked away gem! Excellent food and friendly service. I came with an appetite but combo dishes could easily be shared, I had the veggie platter (5 things carrot/cabbage, chard, spicy saucy potato, lentil stew and split pea mash w/injera). You will be encouraged to eat traditionally with your hands, I did not request nor was I provided with any utensils. Looking forward to my next visit!Vegetarian options: Veggi combo plate is awesome!

The food was absolutely delicious, Lou, our server was so kind and welcoming. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for some authentic Ethiopian food, or want to try something new. 10 out of 10.

He remembered I called earlier in the day to confirm that YES, THE VEGGIE PLATTER IS VEGAN, incl. the enjera bread. ✅ ? ??Vegetarian options: Veggie platter is obviously vegetarian and it’s not marked that it’s vegan but I did call and it was confirmed that the veggie platter including the enjera bread is indeed vegan. ?

Absolutely the best Ethiopian food I've found in the PNW, and I've eaten at almost all of them from Portland to Seattle.Little hole in the wall joint in a mostly warehouse and industrial area, easy to miss. Ignore all of that! You'll thank me later.The first sign I was in the right place was the menu. Kitfo, you choose how it's cooked and they give the option of raw! That's how you are supposed to eat kitfo but most places don't ask, they just cook it.We ordered the Gebeta combo, and an order of kitfo, raw of course. The flavors are spot on in literally everything. Every single dish was amazing! Owner saw us low on injera and got more.If the amazing food isn't enough for you the owner is super friendly and very grateful when I told him how great the food was.All in all an amazing dinner!Highly recommend!
