I’ve always been curious about Nazook, a “mildly sweet Armenian pastry” made by a Portland, Oregon business called Eurobake. They sell them at Fred Meyer’s and WinCo. WinCo also carries some Eurobake breads. I recently bought a package and brought them to work. Nobody seemed interested in them. After a few days, I ended up bringing pretty much the whole package back home. Truth be told, it was probably over a week before I tried them myself. They just didn’t look that exciting to me. Boy, was I wrong! Nazook are the perfect thing to go with a great cup of coffee. I recommend putting them in the microwave for 10 to 15 seconds and putting a little butter on them. The dough is indeed mildly sweet. The center is a buttery crumble with a slightly vanilla, almost almond like flavor. Highly Recomended!!!
