I like this place a lot better ever since they remodeled. It looks a lot nicer inside and out. They have a pretty good sized outdoor patio that's mostly covered and enclosed. They have video poker machines here and their fried chicken is really good but I heard the prices went up. They also have a full bar and security at the door on the weekends. Live right nearby and thought I'd finally give this place a try. My expectations weren't through the roof or anything considering it was a dive bar at 11 PM on a weekday, but it was sadly worse than I thought. My appetizer had raw flour in it, wasnt fully cooked all the way. And I was upcharged $1 for what turned out to be a very small and underwhelming appetizer. I don't know if I'll be back.
It has been over 10-15 years since I frequented the establishment for lunches back when I was substitute teaching at PCC Cascade campus. This time the bartender was beyond inept and I had the very worst Cuba libre(Rum & Coke) ever in my entire lifetime. Although my friends and I won big time playing slot games on their Oregon Lottery Machines. The 2 Cooks were exceptional and also very kind and professional.
