I love Gigi's outside-the-box (all in good ways!) approach to breakfast. What other breakfast place provides free waffle appetizers as soon as you sit down? Or charges a bit higher prices so they don't have to ask for tips at the end? And I really love their gluten free options for my son with celiac disease. Gigi's tops it off with super friendly service and the best coffee in town. 5/5

This one is short and sweet, the Scrapple is divine and the grits are delicious, the waffles here are beautiful and well rounded… the food program overall has a great portfolio of options and the beverage program is fun and compliments the food well, thank you for the truly exceptional experience!

I had one of the best Reubens ever at GiGi's Cafe on St. Patrick's Day! The food was fantastic, and I love that the tip is built into the price, making it super convenient. Plus, the staff is always friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!

Fantastic service and great atmosphere! Felt like a small town, country cafe. Food was fresh and delicious. It was tough to decide what to eat as everything sounded good. Our server was personable and kind. She seemed happy to be working for the cafe. We were very pleased with our visit and if in Portland again, we’ll come back! Being a tip less establishment was different but interesting.

I've been to Gigi's twice now. My first visit was a very busy weekday lunch. The second was another weekday lunch, but much less busy. We had great service and delicious food both times. I'm a vegetarian and found plenty of options I was happy with.

This was a lovely and very busy restaurant. They are clearly very popular, and rightly so. The waffles were delicious as well as the coffee. I had the waffle flight and it was a great way to try three options in one visit, and was plenty of food! The waffle samples while we waited were cute and tasty. I also enjoyed knowing that they had calculated the cost so that tipping is unnecessary and staff are getting paid with benefits with their system. Support local businesses!
Parking: There is a parking lot that is shared with the neighboring businesses. It was very full but reflects the popularity of this restaurant!
Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly with a thoughtful kid menu.
