Overall good not great. I don't need to come back for a biscuit or a biscuit breakfast sandwich but the ginger molasses cookie is amazing.
Sausage biscuit- sausage, Gouda, tomato relish, on a house made biscuit. Decent, good not great. The sausage needed some spice and seasoning. The biscuit was ok but needed salt and could have been softer. Wouldn't need it again.
Raspberry jammer- biscuit topped with raspberry jam. The biscuit would benefit from being warmed or fresh. Sweeter biscuit that would greatly benefit from salted butter or salt in general. Don't need again.
Ginger molasses cookie- fantastic cookie! Slightly dry edges but very moist center. All of the cookie had good chew. Very good ginger flavor and molasses sweetness. Best thing we got.

This is amazing, the bread is so fluffy, the croissant is so crispy and soft, and the soup is so flavorful, the grilled cheese has a really good cheese pull. The service was amazing, I’ll be coming back!

Worth the wait!

Grand Central Bakery has the best egg and cheese biscuit I’ve ever had. The biscuit crumbles perfectly in your mouth. The cheese is melty delight.

It was definitely worth the short line and 15 min food prep wait, especially since I got to sip on my tasty coffee.

I've been a regular customer at this location for a couple of years now and I'm continually impressed with the quality of food and the friendliness of the staff. It's a delight to come in to this shop. I'm especially fond of the breakfast offerings, like the seasonal mini quiches and the incredible cheddar egg biscuit! But EVERYTHING here is top quality! So grateful for this little bakery. 🙏🏻

Now, don’t get me wrong, I love their bread! But their service is shockingly bad. I went in on a Sunday afternoon. Not busy at all. I bought a tuna melt sandwich and waited. For 10 min! I looked over. Everyone was chit chatting. I went to ask them what happened to my sandwich. A surprised look on her face. They had forgotten to make my sandwich. But no apologies; just “a few more minutes.” Then I saw people started working. Literally 2min later the sandwich was ready. But when I picked it up, the lady THREW the sandwich on the counter, without apologizing or saying thanks! How hard is it to fake some semblance of customer service here? And guess what, the sandwich was cold! She should be fired!

Good lattes and croissants, but minus 1 stars as their baguette was already tough at 7am… day old? Not sure what’s up with that.

The decor and furnishings were very nice, inviting, and comfortable. The ordering process and wait time were very minimal. The staff was very helpful, knowledgeable, and charismatic. I definitely recommend coming here if you would like a quick bit to eat as they have delicious pastries and such on hand to go or to enjoy in store. I also highly recommend there amazing menu of sandwiches, frittata, as well as there seasonal items all are made fresh and so delicious.

Just paid 16.25$ for an 8 dollar sando.
No side pickle, no chips, one layer of turkey, two strips of bacon, one lettuce, some onion, aoli, on untoasted wheat. Quite meek and quite boring. I am sad I lost that money.

This is real bread, not like a loaf of sandwich bread. Traditional breads, exotic varieties it's amazing! A part of sellwood I hope stays forever. A real bakery.
