We went for dinner with our daughter and her friends. The space is cute but is a bit loud ( the music) service was good. The food selection was awesome. We ordered a tasting menu of mixed olives, fry bread and burrata to start with followed by and brown butter gnocchi and short rib parpadelle that everyone (4 of us) shared. At first it felt like it would not be enough but it ended up being more than satisfactory for all. A bottle of red wine to wash it all down was just what was needed. Not to mention a spoonful of banana split rounded off the night. superbly!

You can't go wrong here. Whatever you do, don't skip the fry bread with burrata or the cannoli with pistachio and butterfinger bits.

We got the fry bread for appetiser and this is a must try 😍😍loved the crispy cover and the bread too😍 I got the lasagne which had very tasty green garlic cream. Ricotta Gnocchi was my favourite among all the entrées I had at this place. The spicy vodka sauce was super tasty and gnocchi was soft and tender 😍 Desserts are a must try! Cannoli was delicious and also the panna cotta which was the day special was super delicious 😍😍😍friendly staff and god food.

Last day in Portland and landed on this gem — EXCELLENT food and unique atmosphere (specifically decor, which my BFF and I loved)! I wasn’t fully hungry for a pasta meal so vouched for apps instead — the tuna and white bean salad along with the beef tartare delivered with delightful flavors that will make you want more (the photos don’t do its justice)! Of the two, the tuna and white bean salad had a slight win over the tartare for my liking — lightweight salad with a nice hint of salt and savory! But, either way BOTH dishes were plenty to feed one person (in fact the tuna salad probably could have been split between two people). My BFF got the heirloom tomatoes and peach salad as well as the pappardelle — excellent pairing per her input! Glad we decided on this spot for our last supper before heading back to the east coast! Highly recommend for both visitors and locals to put this on their restaurant list!

Gumba catered our wedding and knocked it out of the park. They were easy to work with and flexible. Day of, there were so many compliments on the food. Our vegetarian option (lasagna) went first. Folks also loved the fry bread.

Had the absolute pleasure of teaming up with Gumba PDX for a wedding at The Griffin House—and let me just say, they knocked it out of the park! The pasta? Pure deliciousness that had everyone going back for seconds (and maybe even thirds!). But what really stood out was their incredible team—so friendly, professional, and just a joy to work with. They made the whole process smooth and fun. Already looking forward to our next wedding together! ??

One of the best meals we've had in PDX.
Our table ordered three of the four pasta dishes and shared. Each dish was deliciously unique, well seasoned and showcased the best of what each pasta noodle shape was meant to be used for.
The staff was excellent - even the chef came to our table to check in with us.
We will definitely be back.

BTW: It is most definitely not called "fry bread". The classic Italian dish goes by the name "pizza fritta". "Not approved!"
