Pita bread isn't big enough to be a gyro. Looks pretty, can't eat it if you can't fold it! Lamb gyro tasted like it had ranch dressing, and coleslaw mix instead of lettuce was interesting.

I'm so confused why this place has so many 5 star reviews- I had to throw my food away it was so bad. I went on a Saturday night and I got the hummus and pita plate and the hummus was watery and so bland. Tasted just like blended oil, water, garbanzo beans and tahini- zero spices in there apart from a light dusting of paprika on top which I could barely taste. I pulled a long hair out as well and the pita was cold, like it had been in a fridge or something. I also got the lamb saj which wasn't bad but not good either, I ate about half because I was starving. The guy working the truck also had forgotten about the hummus plate I ordered when he buzzed us to pick up the lamb saj, so that was weird as well. I am so sad I spent over 20 bucks on this meal. I won't go back unfortunately, for my personal tastes at least. The Wonderlove rooftop views were cool and the amenities were great though. Very family friendly, clean, and a chill atmosphere!

I ordered the lamb gyro salad. The lamb meat was tasty, but what I ordered was not what was pictured on the side of the food truck. The salad came with pickles on it vs cucumbers and a mayo based dressing vs a classic vinaigrette dressing. My major complaint though would be the lettuce - it was extremely bitter and almost had a chemical taste. It ruined my meal and I could not eat the salad and was only able to enjoy the meat on top.

Gyro Bistro, located in SE Portland's new WonderLove, featuring a three-story bar and food cart pod, is a true gem! From the moment you arrive, the welcoming atmosphere and friendly food cart staff set the tone for a fantastic dining experience.
The gyros are absolutely phenomenal, but don't miss out on the baba ghanoush and grape leaves – they are simply to die for! The baba ghanoush is creamy and flavorful, while the grape leaves are perfectly seasoned and tender.
The food is fresh, delicious, and generously portioned. With reasonable prices and top-notch service, Gyro Bistro is a must-visit.
Highly recommended for anyone strolling through SE Portland down the road from OMSI!
