Always a great experience at Hale Pele. Great atmosphere. Delicious Tiki Drinks. If you arrive and there's a line, don't get discouraged, as the seats tend to become avaliable relatively quickly. We didn't eat, we just had a drink and left a out was the end of the night. Can't say how good the food is.
I thought I had reviewed this place already... I know it's a tiki bar so they do have the expected style drinks. However this is the Best RUM bar in PDX they have an excellent selection of Rum from around the world. You can order a pour / shot on ice or neat. The food is also great
This place is an institution for a reason. The cocktails are some of the best in the city and the bartending staff are insanely talented. The food is also delicious, I need that deviled egg recipe!
