Super cute spot. Unfortunately, the person taking orders was the most unwelcoming and monotone experience I've had in a while. Just looked like they hated being there and not a single ounce of emotion. Very off-putting and uncomfortable. Perhaps just a bad day and if so, then damn, leave it at the door. I most certainly wouldn't order from them again if I go back. I would happily wait for another employee. To note, I also had the complete opposite with the person who was going around clearing tables. Very warm, welcoming, and friendly interaction. Made me feel like I was welcomed. Now the food. Everything I had was so fresh. The Banh Mi, however, is an embarrassment to call it that. It is in absolutely no way, shape, or form a banh mi. Slapping daikon and carrots on a sandwich doesn't make it so. With thay said, if you just think of it as a tofu sandwich, it was tasty. Salad was lovely as well. The raw cookies are great, too. Chocolate chip cookie, not so much. It's very dry and just crumbles apart. Of course, try it for yourself and make your own conclusions. Parking is a pain, and they say they're vegan forward, so animal products need to be requested, but like that's so silly. If you're gonna be vegan forward, just be vegan.
Excellent food
For the 3rd time in the last few months I’ve ordered pick up orders from this location. Each time I’ve shown up it’s been either a much longer wait than was estimated (15+ minutes) or, after going up and letting them know I was there to pick up an order, I end up sitting and waiting and not being notified that my order was ready.
In the instance of today: I’m a patient person and never want to rush folks that are hustling during the busy lunch time, so I avoided checking in on my order again after informing them I was there to pick. After 15 minutes went by, I checked in on it and it turned out it had been sitting in the fridge the entire time. I spent nearly my entire lunch break waiting there for food that was already ready, and didn’t get to even enjoy it.
I am always recommending Harlow and am obsessed with the food - when friends are visiting this location is always a stop on our list. As a frequent customer, I kindly suggest an improvement to the flow of pick up orders.
The southwest tofu scramble is 10/10 - large protein and packed with flavor! The menu is plant forward so quite a great range of vegan options. Plus plant based milks are the default here!
Good smoothie

Fast casual spot for GF and vegan wraps, bowls, smoothies, and scrambles. Staff can be aloof, but food is fantastic.
Awful experience. Food was okay but the services was terrible. I’ve been to other locations over the years and have never experienced this before. I happy, rude and entitled people that work here. No smiles, wouldn’t answer questions appropriately and claimed it’s all vegan but they serve eggs! What?? Absolutely terrible, do not recommend and please hire people that are friendly and helpful.
While visiting Portland, my girlfriend and I were both wanting a quick pick-me-up snack that was healthy so we decided to stop by here after walking by it. The interior is nice and seems like a great place to have a chat with a friend or get some work done.
The Sea of Blue was underwhelming. I understand it’s a health-focused place but it tasted like 3 blueberries were crushed in a cup of water. In my opinion, definitely not worth +$10.
The cashier seemed disinterested and was not really friendly.
This is a nice clean restaurant with healthy hearty meal options. The entire menu is gluten free. My soup with lots of flavors especially steamed green kale was pretty good.
I love Harlow as much as anyone, but feeling a bit bummed to have spent $14+ on this quesadilla. A large portion of it is practically just tortilla.. I’ve only been to the east side location and was stoked to get an old favorite, but meh. 3

I'd love to give this place 5 stars bc when they get my order right, it is SO DELISH and the ingredients are of high quality. But probably 3 out of 5 times they get my order wrong regardless of which location I go to. Not talking about substitutions but rather wrong sauce selection, wrong protein option, etc. Today I got my order to-go from the NW 23rd location, and came home to realize they didn't send any sauce at all for either bowl I got, which was kinda a major bummer bc their sauces are a big part of why their bowls are so good.
This cafe is such a nice place to hang out and read a book with some hearty food. I enjoyed my pesto grilled cheese with chili. Wish it were more clear what exactly on the menu is (or can be made) fully vegan.
A cute little plant paradise. The Chili Bowl was delicious and the wellness toddy was much needed with the dreary weather! A nice spot on 23rd. 🖤 #Veganuary
Excellent quality food here! My favorite dishes include Biscuits & Gravy with Roasted Veg, Betty Bowl, Urban Bowl, Hawthorne Mac and Black Bean Chilli. I also love their juices and smoothies.
I was shocked when I found out this is a vegetarian restaurant, but wanted to give it a go always. I was more shocked at how amazing the food and juices were! I highly recommend if you’re looking for something refreshing and healthy! The inside is the cutest thing!
Vegetarian options: All green and great!
