This cafe is such a nice place to hang out and read a book with some hearty food. I enjoyed my pesto grilled cheese with chili. Wish it were more clear what exactly on the menu is (or can be made) fully vegan.
A cute little plant paradise. The Chili Bowl was delicious and the wellness toddy was much needed with the dreary weather! A nice spot on 23rd. 🖤 #Veganuary
Excellent quality food here! My favorite dishes include Biscuits & Gravy with Roasted Veg, Betty Bowl, Urban Bowl, Hawthorne Mac and Black Bean Chilli. I also love their juices and smoothies.
I was shocked when I found out this is a vegetarian restaurant, but wanted to give it a go always. I was more shocked at how amazing the food and juices were! I highly recommend if you’re looking for something refreshing and healthy! The inside is the cutest thing!
Vegetarian options: All green and great!

Harlow offers a wide diverse Vegan menu with pancake items to sandwiches and pasta dishes.
My partner and I both ordered the Avocado Bagel, with a toasted bagel topped with Avocado, greens and some roasted peppers. The bagel was quite good, with a tangy bite.
Our son and his partner both ordered the Pumpkin Pancakes with an Apple Compote served with syrup. They did enjoy the pancakes but mentioned a strange after taste, thinking a sweetener, not sure.
The restaurant is quite small so it's a bit of a challenge to find a place to sit when crowded.
Service is excellent.

Did you know that Harlow is 100% gluten-free and dairy free??? I did not know this but it's very small writing at the bottom of their menu and I confirmed upon arrival. I am so excited at all of my choices here.
My friend and I went to the newer Harlow in Northwest and it was so amazing! The Harlow wrap was absolutely huge and delicious , enough for two meals easily and my friend got the pesto grilled cheese and I took a bite and it was divine. I also noticed a banh mi me on the menu which I have never seen available gluten-free before, and their current special is huge pumpkin pancakes with gorgeous slices of cooked apple it smelled so good from a neighboring table. I will definitely be back to try all of their offerings! Highly recommend!

The Seasonal Pasta included butternut squash, mushroom, sage, and walnuts. I enjoyed the creamy and crunchy mix. Unfortunately, several tables were dirty, but two of the employees were busy chatting with each other rather than cleaning.

Food prepared to taste. Order at the counter/pay and they will bring the food to you. Clean and plenty of seating area. No espresso machine for coffee.
This place has great food and a great atmosphere.
Plenty of options that are one of a kind

The food was ok but nothing special. I'm really not a big fan of the 5% surcharge "to buy health insurance for their employees." Just raise your menu prices and be up front about it. I don't think anyone already paying $8 for a smoothie would balk at paying $8.40. It's just sneaky and weird to slip it into the fine print like that.
I have been to the old Hawthorne and new(ish) Division location, and they seem like totally different restaurants. I LOVE the other location, it has been super solid and consistent but this location is not it. I always get the Pesto Garden scramble. The food was subpar, not nearly as good as I’ve had countless other times and the chai was weak and not hot enough. I won’t be going back to that location but the other one has my loyalty!

A casual vegetarian and vegan dining place. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because the coffee wasn’t good and the sandwich bread I had was too oily, I took the chickpea “Tuna” salad which was delicious out of the bread and ate it without the bread. The pesto grilled cheese wasn’t the best either. The chili was very good and the mushroom scallion biscuit was delicious. I would like to go back and try other dishes….. will see 🤷🏼♀️
