Took over 25 min for 2 items, I ordered the “simple sandwich” and yes it was simple but just terrible execution as well, I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and It was soggy, had no seasoning, the potato salad tasted like literal crap. Just straight disappointment. Literally threw in the trash with one bite in each, whata waste.

I never write reviews, but my experience yesterday was beyond disappointing. I've been excited to try Hash It Out sinc I read about them opening on the St Johns Facebook page, but we're usually there when they're closed. My daughter was visiting this weekend so we took her to the carts for lunch. The 3 of us ordered from different carts. I ordered the Nest with chèvre and a side of bacon. My daughter and boyfriend got their food before me - they finally ate theirs so it wouldn't get cold and we finished our beer before mine came. When I think of hash I think of crispy browned potatoes and bits of onion and breaking the egg yolk to mix in. The potatoes in my has were soft and there was so much chèvre on it they just turn to mush. There was SO much chèvre it was all I could taste. The eggs were over cooked - the yolks were almost hard and the undersides had browned so much I couldn't cut them up with a fork. The bacon was good though!

Now located along Lombard St. They still offer great beakfast and lunch fare. Great people.

I'm always so excited to go to this truck, but every 👏 single 👏 time I go it's ALWAYS closed. The hours on line are totally wrong, and I'm tired of being disappointed.

Finally stopped in after thinking this would be just another coffee breakfast cart. Man was I wrong. I got the wrap and all I can say is daaamn. The wrap was delicious and totally worth the money. It was huge! The two ladies that run the cart are also super friendly. So glad I stopped in and even happier it's in my neck of the woods because I'm definitely going back for more!

SO DELICIOUS. You can choose your potato (Yukon Gold, red, sweet), your cheese (goat is an option), and whether to have veggies or meat or both. The full size portion is huge -- good for two meals.

So psyched this is in my Hood now! Bodega breakfast sandwich is perfect, reminds me clearly of my youth in the NE. The Vegan hash was so dang good, vegan sauce was amaze-balls and the empty box is still making my car smell like heaven hours later. Love it!

You would think a place named "Hash it Out" would excel in creating a classic Corned Beef Hash. Guess again. While the potatoes were seasoned well, they were mushy. The melted cheese on top did not help their case, and as time ticked on during my meal, the moisture of the cheese made it mushier. But the real crook here was the Corned Beef. This was bland, so bland it made Ferris Beuller's teacher seem like a Mexican soccer commentator. It tasted like boiled beef that was leftover from two nights ago, microwaved, then used to top my hash. Did a vegan make my food? Like, nothing against vegans, but jeez. It was just one of the worst food experiences I ever had. But the worst part is, I paid for a full meal instead of half-size. If only I knew....
