Havalina is an easy-vibes bar with stellar cocktails and a great food truck out back, currently serving phenomenal Mexican cuisine. The covered back area is a nice spot to hang out or dine, with live music, especially on Sunday afternoons. Friendly bartenders, cool decor, and an excellent selection of beer and cocktails make this place a gem. The atmosphere is enhanced by a live DJ most days of the week, and the owner, a fantastic musician, keeps the schedule full of some fantastic NW music. Customers can enjoy a Mezcal Old Fashioned or other fantastic libations while taking in the music of a legendary songwriter who now calls Portland home. The bar offers a great bottle selection and tasty Mexican food from the Beto's Tacos cart out back. Havalina is a top-notch destination, with friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient bartenders, a clean and well-appointed space, and outlets with USB ports for those who stay a while. It's a place worth traveling to, even for non-locals.
