Great neighborhood bar. Amazing cocktails and solid food. Bartenders are awesome. Really dig this place.

The venue is great. Wonderful food & cocktails, but the beer menu is garbage.

They make up a very nice old-fashioned. Bar tenders are nice. The food ain’t great, but it is worth noting that it isn’t a full kitchen - think panini-press sandwiches. This is a regular stopping spot for me with friends and family.

During our visit to the Fremont Festival, we chose this restaurant for our large group due to its ample seating and family-friendly atmosphere. Upon arrival, guests are invited to find their own seating before proceeding to the bar to place and pay for their food orders. After ordering, diners take their number to the table, and the staff will deliver the food directly.

From the outside, the restaurant appears smaller than it actually is, offering a variety of seating options both indoors and outdoors. While there wasn't a designated kids' menu, the $10 grilled cheese sandwich, accompanied by chips, is likely to be a hit with most children. We observed many families enjoying their meals together.

I opted for a turkey sandwich, which was both flavorful and satisfying, offering good value for the price. The chips, which tasted homemade, were pleasantly seasoned without being overly salty or greasy. Despite the bustling environment on that day, our food took a bit longer to arrive; however, the service was commendable, with the staff being friendly and attentive.

The only area for improvement would be to lower the volume of the music, as it was somewhat loud and made conversation challenging. Overall, it was a positive dining experience.

We stopped here during the Fremont Festival because it was the restaurant with enough seating or our large group and was child friendly.

After finding your own seating, you go to the bar and order/pay for food, then take your number to the table and they will bring your food to you. It's bigger than it looks from the outside and there were plenty of seating options. They have indoor and outdoor tables. I didn't see a kids menu, but the grilled cheese sandwich for $10 comes with chips and would likely please most kids. We did see lots of little kids with their parents!

I was pleased with a turkey sandwich, flavorful and filling at a good price. The chips tasted home made and were not too salty or oily.

It was a very busy day, so it did take a while for our food to come, but I feel like we had great service and that the staff was very friendly and helpful.

The only thing they need to do is turn the music down... It was a bit loud and made it difficult to visit.

Vegetarian options: Their menu has several very large salads that I believe are vegetarian or could be requested as vegetarian. They also have appetizers like popcorn and hummus/pita bread.

Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome... But I think it isn't a restaurant that is geared towards children. Like... They don't have a kids menu or kids cup with straw or crayons for coloring. It's a bring your own kids stuff kind of place.

Just off the beaten path in Beumont, the Hi Top Tavern will not disappoint. Ample outdoor seating, very well air-conditioned inside space. Great selection of drinks, and the Cubano sandwich was fantastic.

Great place to get a drink, popcorn and hummus are awesome. Reasonable prices. I don’t love the new furnishings in the back room. Seating is really high and hard to move around to accommodate people getting up etc. I liked the old set up better.
