The fish was as advertised, delicious, cool bar and transports you to a different place. It was busy, prices were higher than expected and took a while to order. I enjoyed my meal though.
Maybe I just don't get traditional English/ British food as much as I think I do, but I was a little underwhelmed with all of the food honestly. The crisps were greasy to a fault, and I feel like my steak and mushroom pie had very little texture and could have used a second round of seasoning. The friend I went with says that their sandwich was very good, and they enjoy most of the food there so maybe it's just me.

Good halibut, but the fries tasted like they were old & reheated, very chewy & greasy. The bread pudding was very dry, even after pouring cream on it. The atmosphere is great. Service was just ok. She threw the menu, threw the coaster, etc. She didn't make us feel very welcome.
