Came here with a friend and really enjoyed our cocktails and were impressed by the interesting flavors and the atmosphere. (We didn’t order food.) A great first-date place for something a bit more intimate. This is the type of small business that Portland should embrace! Go! It’s well worth it.

Nice small bar. There is definitely room for improvement. We ordered their pizza and it was good. Will try to go back and try other drinks and dishes.Staff and service were great.

I’ve found a new favorite spot! I had the herbed fries, the cesear salad and both pizzas and everything was delicious and the portions were nice too. They had various NA alternatives (Ritual, Kentucky 74, etc. ) I had a NA Margarita which was DELISH! And the bartenders even got creative with making me a mock “disco nap” shot to participate with my girlfriend. Very impressed - Big shout out to Cat & Barb!Great food, atmosphere and bartenders! I’ll be back!

We loved it. Intimate, not crowded or too loud, and good quality drinks and food. Will be back very soon.Pizza was good, salad and herbed fries were delicious. The Champagne Papi is rivaled with Teardrop Lounge’s Italian Job for my favorite cocktail of all time ??Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian snacks!

As far as vibes go, they have them here! From the moment you enter the space, the large velvet curtain keeps the interior cozy and guests curious as they open them up to view the bar area. There are very tight seats along the outside, so expect to get nice and close with your group. The staff are very fun and will make the experience great, and be sure to ask them about their drink and snack recommendations. However, this is much more of a small/local bar with limited drink options and a very limited food menu. If you are hungry, I suggest dining elsewhere, since they only have snacks. The restroom lines can get long when it's busy. I waited 12 minutes for the restroom last weekend. I was quite surprised that they don't have two separate toilet rooms with a shared sink area to make this space more efficient, but, the bathroom is amazing. The lights and vibes and interesting mirrors are selfie-worthy - perhaps this is the reason for the time delay. I am not sure if I will return, but, if I have guests in town I probably would.

Icarus has the nicest staff, and the most incredible pizzas. The vibes are gorgeous, I love it there so much ?

Overpriced for the subpar food and drinks. Vibes were weird.

Hip. Relaxed and stylish. Food was pretty good but under-salted. The espresso martini on tap was good, but the other cocktails were too sweet. Feels like there’s still some growing pains from openingWheelchair accessibility: Steps at the main entrance are not accessible

Drinks are fire. I could drink Behind the fig leaf all night. Intimate and comfortable (a trippy bathroom is a plus). ?

Tried this place out based on an ig reel. Experimental cocktail bar, that was classier and smaller than expected. Lots of great options for drinks on the menu (including NA), and didn't feel like any of the food was calling our names this time. Roni's Lil Helper was a fun tropical drink, we couldn't find the grilled pineapple in there, but had the same vibe as a pina colada. Super Smash Bros had an espresso martini vibe, with a fun creme brûlée top that you could smash (see video). Our server was very helpful in describing the drinks, and gave some insight on the menu (what Rise and Fall meant and how it followed the theme of Icarus). The bathroom was really cool with lights inside, my girlfriend and I of course snapped a photo inside. Glad I got to try the spot out, but might save it again for a girls night or birthday spot!

Cool looking bar on the inside but somewhat hidden unless you knew exactly where to look. While the pizza was good, $8 for one rectangular lunch room style pizza is nuts, then add $1.50 just for a small thing of honey hot sauce and $15 for a drink and you've just spent $60 for two pieces of pizza, two small drinks, and tip. The quote of the night was "I had to drink this fast so I wouldnt taste it." Yes. The drinks were that bad. Don't even get me started on the seizure inducing strobe light experience of the bathroom. What the heck is that about. Plus, the door leading back into the kitchen bathroom area slams so loudly that if you are sitting near it, you will jump every single time someone goes in or out of it. The hype on insta is over the look because nothing else was worth it.

It’s a great little cocktail bar to check out on the west end of downtown. It’s very small which encompasses an intimate vibe. Cocktails were good as well!

I appreciated checking them out for West end Wednesdays and the specials they had to offer including the free shot and pizza sample. That said, the atmosphere was a little confusing between the music and current Halloween decor. It’s also not a huge place and would quickly fill up with just a few parties. Overall service was fine and I hope for the best for them. Just wouldn’t be a place I’d rush back to.
