She spilled half of my coffee and said I am clumsy, that’s it, not even an apologize. Excuse me???
No joy coffee -- meh cappuccino with coarsely frothed milk poured without any attempt of even a basic latte art. Not much in the pastries department either.

Stopped by to get a matcha and a pastry.
I was a bit disappointed because there was barely any matcha. It was mostly almond milk.
However, staff are nice and it’s a small, cute coffee shop.

Stayed at the Hotel Vance. Skipped the Starbucks in the lobby because OBVs. Walked to In Joy. Four perfect Cortados over 2 mornings. Wife's reported her lattes were delic too. We tried one other coffee place nearby but In Joy for the win.

Okay I love everything about this place EXCEPT the fact that regular drip coffee starts at $4 for an 8oz which feels a little steep. All their other menu items are totally reasonable for a coffee shop trying to sustain itself in 2025 tbf, but I'd love a cheaper option for simple drip coffee so I could justify dropping by more regularly!
Their breakfast sandwiches are bomb as hell, too. Thick slices of ham, good quality cheese, and really flavorful eggs. Idk where they're sourcing but the quality is great. Bonus points for Marsee's bakery products, too.

I use to come here every once in awhile I’m always friendly to the staff but for some reason I was ignored at the register and when I said thank you for my coffee I was also ignored. I’ll just take my money and tip elsewhere. Unwelcoming staff. #itippedyouforwhat? You swiveled a little screen around wow. Never coming here again. There’s tons of other better coffee shops with more welcoming staff. Even Starbucks has friendlier staff and I don’t even like Starbucks. Other places to give business to rather than here would be Stumptown, Case Study, Café Umbria, etc.

I stopped by this coffee shop to try their latte and croissant. Unfortunately, my experience was just average. The latte lacked a strong coffee flavor and felt more like milk with a little bit of coffee. It's not what I'm looking for in a good latte. The croissant was a letdown, too. It was hard, and it lacked the flaky texture I love.

I like their coffee a lot. But now their automatic tip options are 30, 40, 50%. Absolutely out of place.
