I use to come here every once in awhile I’m always friendly to the staff but for some reason I was ignored at the register and when I said thank you for my coffee I was also ignored. I’ll just take my money and tip elsewhere. Unwelcoming staff. #itippedyouforwhat? You swiveled a little screen around wow. Never coming here again. There’s tons of other better coffee shops with more welcoming staff. Even Starbucks has friendlier staff and I don’t even like Starbucks. Other places to give business to rather than here would be Stumptown, Case Study, Café Umbria, etc.

I stopped by this coffee shop to try their latte and croissant. Unfortunately, my experience was just average. The latte lacked a strong coffee flavor and felt more like milk with a little bit of coffee. It's not what I'm looking for in a good latte. The croissant was a letdown, too. It was hard, and it lacked the flaky texture I love.

Wow! Unique notes to the hot cappuccino! Super-cozy place, mellow 80’s music playing when I entered. Nice outdoor seating also, affording views of the park and PSU football traffic.

I got a pesto and pepper pastry and a vanilla latte. As seen in the picture, I ate the pastry in a millisecond and took a photo of the cute latte art. The pastry was phenomenal, so satisfying. The vanilla latte had a nice espresso taste and wasn’t too sweet but was sweet enough to remind you that you added vanilla to your latte. Small little work space but cozy. The drive there and parking on the Main Street can be daunting, I recommend going around the block and parking on a side street and walking the short distance over.

In J Coffee is a cozy, relaxed, small coffee shop on the corner of a building. It honestly feels hidden and I wouldn't blame you if you missed it. There are comfortable large seats to sit in or their really nice high top chairs looking out the windows.
The coffee here is absolutely fantastic, some of the best I've had in Portland! I got a latte and I savored every sip. There are also some food and pastry options available to indulge in. The service was easy and nice, making this a spot I'll be returning to in the future. I highly recommend!!
