The staff was friendly, the food was good, and the space is decent. However, there was only one person working as a host, server, and cashier, and one person working as the cook. It took 30 minutes to just get our drinks and samosas and another 30 minutes to get the main dishes. They did not even get one of the orders right, but we didn’t want to wait another 30 minutes so we just took the wrong order. I am willing to give it another try and see if that was one-off.
Finally, an amazing spot for Indian food in Portland!! If you love Indian food that isn't too oily, isn't too salty, and packs a full palate of delicious Indian spices and flavors, this is it!
This is one of my favorite Indian restaurants in portland. I’ve only had delicious meals and good service here! Tonight there was a (first ever) mix up with my take away order and not only did they make it right, they did so quickly and comped a beer. Love this place. It’s a regular spot for my family.
