The worst experience I have ever had in my entire life and that is coming from someone who dines out a lot. There is no shortage of disrespect at this place they serve it down your throat on a big platter. The worst customer service. Sad to say it because it USED to be a much better place. I will definitely never go back again. The food was good so this does not apply to the cooks that take their time to make and deliver good food.Just the people that serve you and the manager. The worst managed restaurant I have ever encountered.

Closed today... They go out of business or remolding?!?! We really enjoyed this place.

This is my mom and I'd favorite spot in all of Portland! It is perfect for every mood and I feel so good after. We are so sad they are temp closed cause every time we are hungry we want Isabels! We have been going for years and never had a bad experience. I love carbs and meat and my moms vegetarian and gluten free and we are always both happy. My go to is the Crispy Crunchy, my mom loves the jalapeí±o scramble-yummmmm

Can't say anything good about this place. So basic yet still not good. I can't quite figure out how they just can't deliver. They are right near my work and I am so bummed that I never want to eat there. Just shrink your menu and do like 8 things great instead of 29 things mediocre. So

I've been eating at Isabels for the last 3-4 years and have always loved the food. The service however is continuously mediocre and the restaurant is currently "shut down" with a hand drawn sign that says "open in July". Well it's July 27 and I've already tried coming twice "in July". No explanation on the website and no ETA of when it will be open again. The restaurant looks completely deserted and I'm not sure this business will be in business if it continues to be run this way. Really dissapointed.

Great food. Large portions, Good prices. Very friendly staff.

The menu isn't that large and its “latin-asian fusion” theme only extends to a few of its dishes. I got a pretty average salad and the rest of my friends were content too. Solid place but don't feel bad about missing it.

I am excited about the new employees. The customer service has improved and I am glad I didn’t give up on it. The food is Great! It is all healthy clean eating. The hibiscus tea is wonderful! When you order meals it’s large portions.

I would have loved to try out this restaurant after seeing it for so long in the pearl but I could not because they are closed 30 mins before their stated time online. I am standing outside the restaurant at this moment trying to flag down the employee inside but he is not even looking my direction.

Sadly this place has really gone down hill. I've been here several times over the past 5 years and it's always been a go-to for a delicious brunch. I hadn't been in a couple of years and decided it was time to come back again. Unfortunately the service and the food was terrible this time. The place was basically empty and our server, though somewhat nice, seemed to just not care about her job. We were served coffee and ordered our food quickly and as expected. When the food came, there in plain sight on the edge of my plate was a hair. The server noticed my disgusted face and immediately came over to see what was up, which I really appreciated. I was willing to overlook it and eat the food anyway because it was only on the edge of the plate and not in the food. While I was relaying that to the server, I looked down again at the plate and noticed another small hair on my eggs. She scooped up the plate and immediately walked away without a word, which was a little odd. I was made a new plate of food quickly, but much to my dismay the food itself was hardly worth the wait. I ordered the chilaquiles and it was basically a plate of mush. The black beans were unseasoned and drowning in water, which had also flooded my eggs. The chips were stale and hard to chew, though the sauce on them was tasty, albeit soggy with too much melted cheese. Suffice it to say I got about a third of the way through the plate and gave up. My husband ordered a scramble and said the eggs were decent but he didn't eat the potatoes, which were completely unseasoned and bland. To pay $35 for two people to eat half of a crappy brunch was completely disappointing. We won't be back again.
