This is my mom and I'd favorite spot in all of Portland! It is perfect for every mood and I feel so good after. We are so sad they are temp closed cause every time we are hungry we want Isabels! We have been going for years and never had a bad experience. I love carbs and meat and my moms vegetarian and gluten free and we are always both happy. My go to is the Crispy Crunchy, my mom loves the jalapeño scramble-yummmmm
The menu isn't that large and its “latin-asian fusion†theme only extends to a few of its dishes. I got a pretty average salad and the rest of my friends were content too. Solid place but don't feel bad about missing it.
