We made a reservation at Jake’s Famous Crawfish and had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere had a bit of an Italian feel, warm and inviting, with options for both indoor and outdoor dining. I ordered the Famous Étouffée and it was absolutely delicious, full of flavor and comforting. Drinks were excellent, and with street parking nearby, the whole evening felt easy and enjoyable.”

After many years away from Oregon, it was our great pleasure to eat at Jake’s once again. Our server, Anthony, provided very efficient and personable service. Our cocktails were perfectly made, and our crab/shrimp cakes and wild caught Columbia River salmon grilled on a cedar plank were delicious. The restaurant’s old paintings, stained glass, oyster plates in frames, original woodwork, and classic songs sung by Ella, Dean Martin, and other greats added to our experience. Parking at the very nearby and safe Indigo was very reasonably priced.

Beautiful restaurant with excellent food and service. I had the crab and shrimp cakes which were delicious and plentiful. Started with the crab and artichoke dip which had just the right amount of NOLA spice. Yummy!

We’ve been coming here for decades and loved it. This last time was a huge disappointment. Service was lackluster at best. My favorite dish, the crab leg sauté, was significantly changed and that was not mentioned at all. My husband’s dinner was just ok. My martini sucked even after I sent it back once (it was delivered warm). I really don’t know if we will be back. I feel we would’ve gotten a better meal at Red Lobster for half the price.

I feel like the workers (hosts and servers) are not competent or not serious about their job. I have been here a few times especially when crystal ballroom used to hold 80’s night. I would stop by and have a dinner and a drink. No problem with service at all. Now, they all just stare at me like I am not a real customer. Was it because of my race, I wonder.
When the waitress finally came, i told her that I had been waiting and she immediately said, “would you like to speak to my manager?” I was really surprised that she could not handle a simple thing.

$20 for a sandwich? Not worth it. This restaurant is all hype no flavor. Beware of these places that rely on AI reviews and don't deliver on decent food it's all a facade.

Food was alright for the price. Service from our waiter was good. They skimped on extra crackers for our brie which was frustrating.

I would have to say everything was pretty perfect!! We had an appetizer, a salad, and six entrees and drinks for the six of us. Everything was delicious. Service was excellent. We'll be back!!'

It was amazing! Perfect quieter seating by window! Customized menu for 50th wedding anniversary! Exceeded our expectations! Thank you!

Ordered the stuffed salmon & the parm crusted petrale sole. Our waitress, although a seasoned professional, still missed a couple marks. Asked what the sides were (not noted in menu) & told was mashed potatoes & asparagus. Had a conversation about how much partner hated asparagus & what we could sub for. Offered spinach as an option. Came with spinach but also the asparagus. Asked about the mash & she sent it right away but seemed to forget our long discussion about asparagus & even charged us $6 for the mash as an extra side. Didn't want the asparagus even on the plate but then charged for mash too seemed to be a little bit much. First world problems, right, but just wanted to note it as it dimmed the experience a bit. Chocolate mousse at the end was a bit thick for me as well. The fish dishes were both good, especially the sole.

I have been going to Jake’s since the mid 70’s and still today one off my “go to” spots. We live in Bend now but still visit Jake’s 3-4 times in the Summer. We were there this week and had another wonderful meal of crab cakes and fried oysters. The bar and restaurant haven’t changed in the 50 years that I have been going. However what I noticed was a slight deterioration of the standards that were always in place while Bill McCormick owned the place. Staff always wore clean a starched white jackets and the place was spotless. I saw trash building up under the waiter station in the bar and the bar and wait staff were wearing dirty jackets, sleeves rolled up and collars misshapen. [not all but enough that it was noticeable]. You will likely say that I am being too picky. However, I am a firm believer that once you let standards begin to slip in one area, the rest is not far behind.
Don’t get me wrong. I love Jake’s. I would hate to see it marginalized when it could be turned around now.
