Janken is a beautiful restaurant, staffed with wonderful people! But we did leave thinking it was a bit too expensive for what we got out of it. The food was good, not great. Flavors were too subtle for us. Somewhat bland in certain dishes.
This is our second time dining at Janken, and this time we brought some of our good friends to enjoy a restaurant we've been raving about for months. The food was delicious and outside of the Wagyu steak, which was the most expensive item but also quite fatty, everything was outstanding! However, our service was very disappointing. An amazing restaurant where strive hard to provide an amazing culinary experience. I really appreciated the waiter helping to make a birthday dinner an interesting adventure of the palette.
