The coffee was delicious, and it's named Java Man, so they lived up to the name. The food wasn't my style, but others may love it. Example the burrito was mostly egg. I prefer vegetables or a more even ratio of food so I can taste the cheese, meat or potatoes/onions.

Lovely little coffee shop, lots of comfortable seating and a very nicely decorated and cozy atmosphere. This was my very first stop visiting Portland for the first time, and the staff was incredibly friendly in helping me pick a drink off their big menu (iced peach tea with rose. Oh my god... it was SO good.) They also had beignets that were mega tasty. Though the staff and shop didn't know it, this was mine and my mom's first impression of Portland and, for better or worse, they set the bar very high. Wonderful experience!!!
