Stopped here for coffee and breakfast every day of my long weekend in Portland. Food is tasty, fruit is fresh, coffee is delightful, staff are friendly and wonderful, service is quick, and the vibes are fantastic. What more can a girl ask for?

So o tried to support what seems like a minority owned business but they are skimping ok. The Thai tea I had was 60% ice and then I spend $11 on a croissant sandwich that was mad with the cheap American cheese so nasty it ruined the whole sandwich I didn't even know people still use that fake cheese. The cinnamon roll was good!

Very nice place to go for coffee and get some work done and relax.
Barista were friendly and polite. Espresso was very good.
The place was busy but quiet and besides I didn’t get anything food, the smell was nice.
I loved the plants as a decoration.

Cutest coffee shop! I got a cold brew with maple syrup and coconut milk. I really appreciated the barista asking me about how much milk I wanted and poured it in front of me. I got a gluten free oat, blueberry muffin that my kids loved along with a chocolate chip cookie. I love all the plants and staff was friendly!

Super low key coffee place in downtown Portland. My hubby got some coffee there and loved it. The environment inside was chill and super cute. Would go again!

Java Man Coffee has a spacious and comfortable atmosphere, great for relaxing or getting some work done. The coffee was pleasant, though a bit more subtle in flavor than I expected. The staff was very kind and welcoming—really appreciated the friendly service!

I stopped by today and ordered a regular coffee and a ham and cheese croissant. I was told it would take 4–5 minutes, but it ended up taking 15. I had to follow up with the staff myself, only to be told it would be “a bit longer.” When it finally arrived, the croissant tasted terrible—like it had been previously frozen. Very disappointing experience. Would not recommend.

Picked up Java Man Coffee to pair with Fried Egg I'm in love breakfast sandwiches. Coffee was pretty good, but on the pricey side. My wife got a hot dirty chai with 2 shots, and I went for a barista staple, a flat white. It was good, but more expensive then Starbucks and many other coffee shops I have been to, and it tasted the same. Wife enjoyed her drink. Overall not a bad place to stop to support local coffee, but from the other reviews I had higher expectations. Very friendly staff, and a great indoor area with cool art and plants to sit in and enjoy some Java!
