Tried their version of Chicken Fried Steak. The diner was quiet, and the food was like an old diner from years ago. Service was good.

Classic diner breakfast owned by the sweetest Greek couple since 1972! Very old school Portlan and certainly the most affordable food in downtown. This is going to be a regular spot for me!

What an amazing experience! The owners take such pride in their work and have since 1973! Affordable prices, a hometown feel, and a filling breakfast. So, so happy to be a short walk from this breakfast spot!

Some traditional Americana - nothings changed since it opened and it’s perfect.

This place is darling! The menu isn’t extensive but everything is delicious and classic diner food. We enjoyed three omelettes and the woman working there was so lovely. Perfect place for a scrumptious and inexpensive breakfast. Would definitely recommend.

We discovered this Christina and John have been running this cafe 52 years. 2004 prices. We enjoyed this breakfast and visiting with them so much. We will be back.

This is first and foremost a diner. So if by my stars, you are expecting an upscale bistro, you are fishing in the wrong pond. But as a diner, it was 😙 🤌.
The breakfast steak was pounded thin and pretty well-done, and juicy and tasty. Sunny side eggs perfect. Not runny or overdone.
And all very affordable. Served with hash browns and toast, it was the perfect, still affordable, protein  😙🤌 to start the days adventures.
The waitress was extremely personable and lovely. And the owners (I assume) up in front and the kitchen, perfectly curt and down to business.
I hesitate to tell the world about it. I don't want it to become the next hipster find with a line around the block, then next thing you know, they are serving bottomless mimosas and everything is 3x the cost. But I do want to be sure it is loved just the way it is enough to survive this hard time for restaurants so it is still there whenever I come back.

Nice little diner, great service got served water and coffee almost as soon as we sat down. The feta omelet was so savory. The hash browns were a little more like grits. Their bacon was delicious and a very hefty portion of side dish. The only con is that they only accept cash, luckily we had cash on hand.

Old fashioned service with a smile. John makes his burgers with some magic charm reminiscent of classic diners: grilled bunny to perfection every time. They serve RC Cola. Limited menu in light of today's world but I come back for the quality they provide. Be prepared with cash. They don't accept any kind of credit.
