This place was so cool. I got the burger, which was good but probably not the best burger I’ve ever had. The fries were pretty nice actually and seasoned with a lot of pepper. However the rest of their menu looks great and I want to come back and try more items. The bartenders were super friendly and more than willing to make alterations to drinks and provide recommendations. But the vibe is immaculate. It’s what Sugar Hill wants to be.

Great community pub. We sat by the fireplace and sipped our drinks while a storm raged outside.

Nice, classic neighborhood bar. The clientele so appear to be locals and know the bartender.

I’m still beaming from hosting my graduation party in the back room recently! The experience was awesome from start to finish. Everyone I interacted with (Samuel over email while planning, plus Nathan and others in person the night of), was friendly, accomodating, and genuinely supportive.
I know from working in the food service industry that large groups (we had 30+ people) can be stressful to manage, but the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming. They never once made us feel like a burden and instead made the whole night feel effortless and celebratory. And, they didn't even mind that one of my guests was a mannequin!
The back room was the perfect space, and I especially appreciated how the window to the bar made it easy to order. Drinks and food were excellent as always.
Thank you SO much, Keys Lounge team, for helping make my graduation party dreams come true! Can't recommend this place enough.

Keys Lounge is a fantastic spot to grab a drink and hang with friends. The DJs here are top-notch and always keep the energy going with great sets. The vibe is consistently fun and welcoming, with plenty of space to spread out both indoors and outdoors. The staff is laid-back and chill, which makes for an easy, enjoyable experience. The food is fairly decent by Portland standards—not the highlight of the place, but definitely solid enough if you want to grab a bite while enjoying the music and atmosphere. All around, a great lounge for good drinks, music, and company.

Fun bar. Cool vibe. Always chill music playing with different people spinning vinyl. Delicious drinks and friendly bartenders. Food is ok. Fries are always way too salty. Most of the food is salty. But there are a couple of yummy options.

Amazing music in this club

I had high hopes for this place. Only because I had painted it as some cool 50s nightclub with hipster jazz cats. It's not. It's like being in a sitcom about 21 year olds, and where they hang out. I definitely felt old (44)I was obviously only there for there for the jazz and not to meet one of these cool groups, so I stuck out. And to add insult to injury, I went up and asked them if they had a tip bucket. And they said no but they had scan slips on the table. 😒 😂 It is pretty inside, and we got our stuff fast. Although I nearly choked when I tried my friends fries because of all the black pepper. I didn't care. I had fun. I thought it was funny, and that's my review.

**IF YOU GO TO KEYS LOUNGE, BE SURE TO DOUBLE CHECK YOUR BILL BEFORE YOU PAY**
I had come by Keys Lounge several times with groups, always thought it was a cool place. But I cannot believe how rudely the staff treated me the other day.
I ordered two drinks, and when I came back to pay my bill, there was a third (far more expensive) one added to my tab. I politely pointed out this out, and the bartender asked me if I had met up a group there (I had). She then said that I needed to *send Venmo requests to my friends*, because if I don’t cover this mystery drink that I did not order, the staff will have to.
I then had the pleasure of enduring a stare-down and berating from this bartender until another person stepped in and fixed my bill. The kicker - even after all of that, there is a random extra $5 charge on my credit card as well from Keys. Oh well, they can keep the $5, but I can find a new group spot from now on.
Random Venmo requests to cover their screw-up, that’s a new one!
