Discovered this place by accident and it was such a happy surprise, it was quiet for a Thursday dinner so we got taken care of extra quick. The drink menu was plenty and the one I picked “phuket fantasy” had me at hello. Some of the best Tom yum soup i’ve had in a while and the entrees where generously portioned and the presentation was wonderful, tried two different items, the khao san basil rice with ground pork was delicious. Can’t wait to try different items on the menu,

I had lunch here on a business trip and was pleasantly surprised by the food and how sweet the servers were. I got the lunch special Pad See Mao with chicken (medium spice) and a Thai iced tea. The spice level was a bit hot for a medium, but perfect for me. If you like really spicy food, this place will deliver the heat! The tea was perfectly sweetened, creamy and not too strong of a tea flavor. The ladies taking orders and serving food were very kind and polite, greeting people happily and sending guests off with a smile as well. The place was busy during lunch but they are efficient in cleaning tables and getting people sat and served. The only thing that would make the atmosphere better would be better music :) (totally a personal issue tho!!) Although there is lots of Thai food to choose from in Portland, I’d recommend this spot in the Pearl District for lunch 😋

So consistently good, and the staff is chill, atmosphere is fun! Food is 💣 Locals get this place. Insta-chasers typically don't know how to review Khao San. Act like a local - try the Khao San Ginger Lager (fire) 🫚 and their cocktail menu and beer tower make for a fun Sunday afternoon!

Was my first time here and the food was AMAZING! I wish I had taken a pic of our dishes we got the lunch specials. I got the pad kee mao w shrimp, mild spicy, the shrimp portion was good, I would get hot next time because mild was flavorful but no spice taste, the plating was very cute with a small salad on the side of the plate and some edible flowers on top! My friend got a spicy beef dish that was also very good!
They decor is cute and the staff is friendly!

Great Thai vibe and very friendly service. Sadly the food didn't meet my expectation. If you love spicy, make sure to order your food with spice level 5+. Small portion. Seasoning isn't bad but a little on the sweet side. Everything was average except for the spicy fish, it was very good. If you don't like raw mung bean, don't order the mango sticky rice, it ruined the taste, also the sticky rice was a little mushy. Crying tiger was chewy but good sauce

Change of management? Prices raised by 3 dollars. My portion was much less. Even the potstickers come with less. Ridiculous considering they charge more. Also no more bottomless coffee.

Best Thai spot I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying in Portland so far! The requested spice was perfectly balanced and the ingredients and meat in my dish were fresh and high quality. 10/10, I will definitely be back. Soon!

This was a really nice spot. It had a really good layout, a big bay door entry, clean, and a beautiful view of the walking bridge. The service was quick and prompt, and their plating was phenomenal. (FLOWERS ON MY PLATE, AND DRINK?! YESSSSS) The food wasn't as spicy as I was hoping. But they brought over spices to bring it up to my insane level of spice. Not enough spice is a me problem, not them. I will be coming back!
