Sandwich #15 was the better of all that we ordered. Although I would want a bit more meat and skip the middle 3rd piece of bread. If you want the sandwich to look bigger and higher, use meat to do that.Knish was gummy and tasteless, matzo ball soup, well the matzo balls were good light and fluffy but the broth really needed help, grey, tasted like canned broth loaded with bouillon and a bunch of silty stuff at the bottom of the bowl. A fixture for many years in Northwest Portland operating slightly different since covid a little more do it yourself and a little less service but still great folks and excellent food

The bagels here are chewy, flavorful, and they shmear just the right amount of cream cheese. Stopped by neighboring bagel places only to miss the perfectly toasted bagels here at Kornblatt’s. Have tried some other items on the menu as well and they were good too! Love stopping by here to snack on a bagel. So far tried the sesame and onion bagels and they were both delicious! The New York vibes of this place makes it a fun place to eat inside too!
