Awesome little spot tucked into a small cluster of good looking restaurants. Had seaweed salad, gyoza, and several rolls. All were good. Kids had great teriyaki bento boxes and strawberry sodas. Will return.

Large fresh pieces of fish, nice attentive service. Well probably add this to the rotation for to go orders. Good hand rolls and nigiri.

This is our favorite sushi restaurant in portland. The fish I always fresh and Tim is a master sushi chef. They use the same suppliers as the expensive restaurants yet their meals are more affordable. Very kind and sweet family and Tim will make any kind of custom roll you want. My partner and daughter even got rolls named after them (your experience may vary ?).

I've been mulling over leaving this review for a while because I often avoid it. The rice was cold and hard, the water I drank tasted like fish, and look at this tuna nigiri that I was served. The dinner I had was a birthday present from my mom and it was a very disappointing way to celebrate. Definitely not the $30 I spent on the food that was supposed to be a splurge.Edit to the owner: There's a huge difference between cold and hard like it's been refrigerating for a day and the proper temperature and texture for rice and I would hope that you would know that as a sushi restaurant owner. Also thank you for ignoring the glaring issue with the fish that was served.

It's a nice little place in the area that serves super good sushi at even better prices. The service makes you feel like you're being welcomed and sits you down like youre being seated at the table at home. Very cozy. Tried 3 different rolls and 2 nigiris and they were all great!

Always been seated right away and the service is incredibly friendly! Food is quick, but fresh. Well priced. My boyfriend and I go and order a couple rolls, crab puffs, multiple nigiri pieces, and a beer or 2 and spend about $50-60 total. We leave satisfied and full! The Salem roll is my favorite!

Great (hidden) spot for some delicious sushi! The portions of sushi are very generous and offer great value for money sushi. The staff are friendly and helpful. I imagine this place could get quite busy, try to eat outside of the lunch/dinner rush for good service.

Tiny little sushi place that has a big menu. Food is good and the sushi is great (in my opinion)Parking: Buildings there have their own parking area that is always busy, but it never takes too long to find parking. At its busiest it takes only about one or two rotations (about 2 minutes) before you find an available spot.Wheelchair accessibility: All businesses in the area are wheelchair accessible

We ordered takeout and were pleasantly surprised at the generous portions of the fish served! The fish was so fresh, delicious tasting, and prices very reasonable. Our order was also prepared promptly. What a gem, and I’m so glad we found Kura Sushi!

After traveling 11 hours to get to Portland we found a sushi spot that was close to the room we rented. We sat down to eat. At first it looks like a message parlor but then as son as you get in you get an old school Chinese food restaurant feeling. The misses ordered her California rolls and we both got miso soup. I didn't really find anything that appealing so I ordered the only deep fried roll on the menu. The soup was kind bland. The rolls also didn't have much of a flavor. Misses said that the California rolls tasted mostly like cucumber. I then found some hairs on my plate. Utterly disgusting. It wasn't busy in the slightest which should have told me to leave.
