I have ordered from this crew several times. The service is impeccable— the team was willing to omit cheese, were friendly and helpful, and had a sense of humor. One of our party is a loyal fan of their empanadas. La Arepa NE served us our first arepas and we were hooked! The sauces are distinct and delicious. There are dairy free and vegan options. Best of all, it feels good to support a business where their cooks are talented AND deliver superb customer service. This truck is the shining star in this pod. Highly recommended.

Venezuelan food truck with a big menu. We got the Arepa #9 Pabellon Arepa and Tostones with Chicken. The arepa is the standout in that it was the first arepa I've had that did not crack or fall apart while eating it. Everything in it including the shredded beef, cotija cheese and plantains made the entire arepa experience very ?The arepa prices are probably more on the expensive side. The Tostones was okay except the chicken was dry but that was easily fixed with the salsa we got from the arepa. There are vegetarian and vegan options for some of the menu items.Vegetarian options: Domino, Patacon, Salad, Platano, La rubia

They never gave us the food we ordered and refused to issue a refund.Edit after the business owner’s response: I asked them for a refund several times and they never agreed to give a refund. They just kept trying to shirk responsibility for not providing us with the service we paid for. Now they’re trying to claim that they gave a refund after I wrote this negative review. If the refund actually happens, I’ll edit this again with an update.

The attention of the people who are there is terrible, you ask something and they respond in a bad way, apart from the fact that you couldn't pay either because the machines never worked ??

A Venezuelan friend invited us to this food cart and it is a place you need to visit because? The customer service was super good, the food is well priced and the portion is very satisfying, you can even share it. I loved the chicken pavilion arepa accompanied by the avocado sauce. Very rich. The tequeño with the garlic sauce, delicious. The beech also has a very rich flavor of the meat. If you like spicy food, you need to bring your own sauce but their sauces go very well with the food. The pavilion empanada had a good, juicy flavor and was super big. If I come back :)

The pavilion empanada is exquisite, the preparation and presentation is really meticulous, apart from the fact that José serves you dancing and with great joy. I will return again and again.

9.50 for an empanada. Extra with sauce. And the masa was really thick so the filling was quite lacking.

Empanadas were cooked perfectly and huge! The chicken one was alright but the fish one was great. The Pabellón Arepa was lovely. The shredded beef was juicy and flavorful and each flavor complemented one another well. It was stuffed too! I only wish that it had come with a little salsa on it or on the side. I felt like that's what it was missing. The person running the cart was super sweet and friendly.

Had my first ever Arepa at this gem of a spot in Portland and it was AMAZING. For first timers, I suggest trying their classic shredded beef arepa. We got the guasacaca sauce and cotija cheese. I must say, prepare to have cotija cheese beard crumbs on your face. hahaJose was super friendly and taught us some Venezuelan lingo- will definitely be back and will recommend to our friends!
