Decent options but not everything was great. The Molcajete was tasty but some of the protein options were mediocre. I really like their rajas poblanos and soy Tinga but their tofu was so bland and their mushrooms were served a bit bland/cold. Not excited to return but I'd come back someday.
The chips were crispy, but not greasy, and the salsa was flavorful. It seemed like it took quite a while to receive our meals even though there were only a few other customers. The La Cocina Salad was a spring mix with pistachio vinaigrette dressing, grapefruit, marinated jicama slices, house-roasted seeds, radish, and almonds. I added soy tinga to add more protein. It was good, but overpriced for $5 extra.
I went in with my friend and my mom today, we had told our server (Brian) that my mom had dietary restrictions which limited her ability to eat any spice and without any context Brian had brought over a sample of all the sauces and walked through the entire menu with us to make sure she could eat.
