The chips were crispy, but not greasy, and the salsa was flavorful. It seemed like it took quite a while to receive our meals even though there were only a few other customers. The La Cocina Salad was a spring mix with pistachio vinaigrette dressing, grapefruit, marinated jicama slices, house-roasted seeds, radish, and almonds. I added soy tinga to add more protein. It was good, but overpriced for $5 extra.
I went in with my friend and my mom today, we had told our server (Brian) that my mom had dietary restrictions which limited her ability to eat any spice and without any context Brian had brought over a sample of all the sauces and walked through the entire menu with us to make sure she could eat. This is my go to Restaurant for a fabulous margarita and an authentic Latin American meal. The atmosphere is always welcoming and warm. The decor is vibrant with art, live plants and fun regional pieces. They have three areas for seating. Outside at the bright colored umbrellas, inside the main restaurant and on the side room that feels like an enclosed patio room.
