Wow! Honestly, best tacos we’ve had in PDX. Great service and fresh ingredients. We had the taco plate, with asada - the asada was crispy and flavorful. The tortillas were handmade! Rice and beans were good as well. We also tried the tacos dorados with potato. They were nice and warm, crunchy, everything was just great!!!

Why this place isn’t absolutely crawling with patrons is beyond my comprehension!! House made tortillas? YES. Fresh ingredients? CHECK. Fine choice of proteins? UH-HUH. Friendly proprietors? THE BEST.
Had the taco plate with asada, pollo, carnitas & marinated pork. Tortillas lightly fried crisp. Cilantro, onion, radish & the meat. Green avocado salsa. Lime wedges. Black bean, rice and salad.
Second time here and won’t be the last!!

Excellent asada burrito, and sweet experience with the ladies running the restaurant. The burrito was moist and the carne asada had crispness, so perfectly cooked. The tamale was also upper crust, with the masa being moist, and the chicken in green sauce bursting with flavor.

I never felt compelled to rate/review food in writing before, but I gotta say I have only been to two places in the USA that ever reminded me of anything close my favorite tacos I've ever had in Mexico. One random gas station corner store in Minnesota and now THIS spot. It's the real deal. Phenomenal.
