Still one of portlands best restaurants. So many have come and gone, there is a reason why this place is still a staple in Portland. Not only is the food spot on but the great service also needs to be mentioned! Will always be my favorite restaurant!

I don’t know what kind of deal with the devil this chef made, but it was worth it.

$140 per person $90 premium wine pairing
Great service. Each course does take a bit to come out. Food was unique and interesting.

High quality food. Great quality ingredients and a style that's familiar but sophisticated. I had the non-alcoholic drink pairing, which matches the food very well.

I've been to a few fine dining restaurants, and this is one of my best experiences. I highly recommend Le Pigeon!

Service was fantastic and the food was out of this world!
We loved it, and it was the best wine pairing I have had, lovely wines!!!
So nice to meet chef Gabe and all of the staff made it a special night out for us. Will definitely look forward to coming back again! Thank you!

Le Pigeon nails it again! Literally every meal I've ever had here has been a euphoric experience.
Signed up for the five course tasting menu before I knew what the menu was. I'm not a big cooked fish fan myself, and three of the five courses featured fish.
However I didn't fret for a second because I knew it's Le Pigeon, and it barely matters at all WHAT is being served. It's all about how it's prepared. Sure enough, every morsel was absolutely delectable.
It's nice to have a place that you can just trust completely like that.

All in all, it was a great experience dining at Le Pigeon. However, given the price point, I was a bit disappointed with some of the dishes.

My favorite dish was the foie gras and duck lumpia. The duck fat combined with the crispy lumpia was PACKED with flavor. I also enjoyed the ube/tamarind drink in the non-alcohol pairing option.

The Chilean sea bass and hamachi, however were the most disappointing dishes. The chicken broth in the Chilean sea bass dish was moderately salty. For the price point, I would expect the flavor to be a bit more unique than just the taste of salty chicken broth. The fish, however, was cooked well.

The flavor of the hamachi sauce, raita, used in the dish did not shine. So I felt like I was just eating raw hamachi without sauce.

Both desserts were way too sweet for my liking. I felt like the sweetness overpowered every flavor of the desserts. Service was good and I enjoyed the atmosphere!

Truly a five-star experience. Best described as casual, Portland fine dining at its best. French and French-inspired dishes perfectly paired with old-world wines. Each course of the tasting menu was unique, creative, mouth-watering, and superb. Definitely a must-visit if you live here or just curious about the best of Portland. BTW, atmosphere is laid back, post-hipster Portland cool. No jackets required.

We had both the vegetarian and carnivore chefs tasting menu. Both had great dishes. Some stood out more than others. I do believe I would order both again.
