I have never experienced such unprofessional and hostile treatment at a restaurant. The table attending were regulars that the night staff wasn’t familiar with. We were on business, and half of the table owns businesses next door to the tavern. The lunch staff is better, but all 5 patrons will NOT be coming back.
The staff were inattentive from the start -- it took about 10 minutes before our waitress even acknowledged us to take drink orders, and we had to remind her that we also wanted food. Our table of five received only one burger after 15 minutes, then waited another 30-40 minutes for the rest of the food. During that time, the server never checked in, never offered another drink, and never explained any kitchen delays. Instead, she repeatedly blamed our "large table" for the wait.
When I asked to speak to the manager, they were dismissive and did nothing to address the situation. I asked for the senior manager's contact information and the names of the staff involved -- they refused, then told us to "get the f*** out."
I was a regular customer here and have only had good experiences with the lunch staff, but after this appalling treatment, I will not be returning. If you value good service and basic respect as a paying customer, I recommend going elsewhere.

Honestly, I dont know what these negative reviews are on about!! Alex, Isabella, Nate, and Josh are all phenomenal bartenders with very kind (but distinct) personalities if you treat them like human beings!! The drinks are good and plentiful, the food is what youd expect from a dive bar, and Ive never felt like any part of the bar is disgusting or unclean. If you have a problem with this place, you might just be expecting a high end hoity-toity bar which this isnt and thats okay! Its not pretending to be. But if you wanna have a good time, a good drink, and meet some fun characters, this is definitely one of the best places you can do that in The Pearl. Give it a try, ignore the bad reviews. Its worth the visit!!

The bartender downstairs is unnecessarily rude. Would recommend staying clear.
The bartender in the downstairs bar was one of the most unnecessarily hostile people I’ve encountered. We came with a mix of Americans and international guests, and he was rude and confrontational from the start particularly towards the international people. Otherwise not much going for it, standard dive bar vibe. Recommend steering clear.

My BLT was fine. Not good, but edible. There were bugs floating in my water and like many before me have stated, the restrooms smelled AWFUL. So awful, in fact, that you can smell them in the dining room. Husbands burger was completely raw and the meat was rotten. Completely inedible. The bartender, while clearly very overworked and doing his absolute best, was really friendly and may have been the only redeeming quality about this place.

Fantastic spot in the Pearl for drinks and food. Lots of outdoor seating available street side. The bartenders are AWESOME - shout out to Adriel for their consistent hospitality - these folks do a LOT and take care of business so be sure to be patient and kind and tip accordingly! Be sure to check out their food specials - their kitchen comes up with some gems! Sometimes they have Jell-O shots!
