We saw "About Dry Grasses" - a foreign film with a lot to ponder. I appreciate that there's a place in Portland that shows other than the run of the mill shows.

A comfortable place to see good films.

Nice theater, good seats, good food, but reserve tickets ahead of time, it can be difficult to find seats on a busy night. Also the line for ordering food can be slow, arrive early.
Johnny Avalos
Nice, cozy, and quaint theater that shows some older movies at a great price! A+++!

Disappointing on a couple accounts. First you couldn’t order food as they said their kitchen person was out. I’m not sure why they didn’t have a back up person as that a big part of their advertising that you can order a meal for your movie. And secondly, during the quiet parts of the movie there was some sort of fan noise? Projector noise maybe? Kinda like someone was vacuuming in the other room. But that noise was there for the full movie and you noticed it whenever there was a quiet part of the movie. And lastly the seat I got was advertised as a recliner but it didn’t recline.

Watching a movie at this theater will be a treat if you want to feel nostalgic for old school cinema. The environment is not as modern as theaters nowadays, nor is it very big, but if you like smaller settings this will be perfect for you. There is a slight stench, but not enough to leave the area. In fact, it added to the unique experience!I ordered tickets for the movie "Poor Things" at the concession stand/bar, so it's expected to also order whatever snacks you want along with your ticket.I ate popcorn and got a glass of water that you can serve for yourself in the hallway towards the cinema. The popcorn tasted good, but also felt like parts of it were soggy. It occurred so often that I believe it's just the way their popcorn is served, so that's unfortunate because if it weren't so tasty, I would've chosen not to continue eating. The seats were comfortable and soft, like you're in your living room- so the title of the building is accurate. The screen was large and had good quality. Plus, the crowd we had was no more than 30 and everybody was a joy to react with. This was a fun experience that I would do again!

Some of the rudest customer service ever received. Hard pass
Nice theater, popcorn snacks are too little for the price. They are delicious though. Quality over quantity I guess. Lol.

Great location and cozy theatre, bring a jacket.

If parking weren't such a complete drag, I would be a frequent visitor. I love the small, comfy theaters and excellent selection of films. This is a spot for grown-ups.

Really appreciate the bartenders, satisfying food, and movie selections that are often more interesting and artistic than anywhere else nearby
