Lloyd Center is a unique shopping destination that offers a memorable experience. Despite being a quiet and slightly eerie place, the mall's nostalgic charm and well-lit, nicely decorated atmosphere make it an enjoyable outing for families. Visitors can expect to find a few clothing stores, a Lego store, comic book shop, and jewelry places, as well as a Barnes & Noble, Ross, and hair salon. While not all stores are open at 10 am, there are still plenty of options for food and snacks, including Cinnabon and ice cream. The mall is decorated nicely, especially during the holiday season, with trees and a Santa section. The ice skating rink is a main attraction, and parking is available in the open area. Although it may not be the safest place to park in the covered area, the mall itself is physically beautiful and blends classic national chain stores with quirky Portland character stores. With its unique character and nostalgic charm, Lloyd Center is a great spot for a fun and inexpensive outing.
