Awesome place, good vibes, chill space, killer sammies. I they were only open an hour earlier, I would be there every day.

Great sandwiches, but super expensive. When did a small sandwich become $16? I hate this world....

We stopped in for a quick date on Valentine's day. There is construction across the street so parking was difficult. The shop was easy to locate.I ordered the Lottie grinder $16, a bag of chips $3 and a $5 cider. Hubs ordered the Ruben $16 and a $5 beer. Our bill was $45 + $10 tip.The Ruben was good, exceptional really. It's hard to find an amazing Ruben in PDX. The grinder was bad. The bread was crusty -- so hard that it scraped the top of my mouth. There was no sauce. Maybe this is the style they are going for, I've never had a "grinder", I was not impressed. The music was blaring. We planned to converse during our lunch but the music was so loud I left with a headache. The restaurant vibe is super hip. We are in our 40s and I figure we were the oldest folks there. The staff were nice, but not necessarily helpful. We likely won't return. There is a long list of lunch restaurants that we can go to with table service, better food and less cost. But that Ruben....

The detail, thought and treatment of every ingredient really shines here. Authenticity rings true, flavor is insane. This is a must.

Lunch dates are underrated. Lottie & Zula’s is an amazing spot for some of the best sandwiches in the city! If you have that debate between breakfast and lunch split the difference and make everyone happy here!! They have something for everyone and it’s all delicious!!!!Vegetarian options: The beet sandwich is so good!!!

My daughter had the spinach Buzzards Bay breakfast sandwich (very tasty) and dirty ginger Chai latte (nice level of spicy), and I had a mocha (smooth and chocolatey). Everything was great, the staff was awesome, and the music and atmosphere were enjoyable.Vegetarian options: There are several vegetarian options on the menu, but you have to read the descriptions because they are not explicitly labeled or in their own section. They also have an allergy friendly menu available.
