The place was phenomenal. I savored every bite and loved trying the sauces and pickled onions. I loved it so much I got a to go order to eat later while at work. The chicken was so juicy and flavorful. The rice that it came with was also packed with flavor. I definitely recommend getting beans on the side as well, they are cooked in an aromatic coconut curry.

Lived in Belize for 3 yrs when I was a kid. We lived in a small town and ate like everyone else there- coconut rice and beans with stew chicken. My mom was visiting for her bday so we decided to attempt a nostalgic blast from the past. A win! The food was amazing and they even had Marie Sharp’s hot sauce. Belizean food is delicious and this place does an excellent job showing everyone in PDX just how delicious.
