Love this place and highly recommend checking it out.
What a spectacular experience. Staying in town for our son’s 23rd Birthday. He is in a wheelchair because of his MD.
Here, the waiter turned on the stereo and the 5 star service. Thank you!

Wonderful staff and service - food and drinks are great!! There is a nice outdoor seating area, as well as plenty of indoor seating options.

Heroes American Cafe is a popular neighborhood hangout known for its delicious food and drinks, offering a comfortable sense of community. With options for dine-in, take-out, and delivery, it features a few tables for outside seating and what seems to be a private party area in the back. Their sandwiches, including the Sicilian grinder, are well-made and filling, while the salads are generously sized and of high quality. The cafe also serves great burgers, such as the Rueben, making it a fantastic option for anyone looking for a meal near PSU. Additionally, it offers Fish Tacos and has a full bar, along with video lottery and screens for watching games. Located just off of the trolley line and a few blocks from the Max, it is also within walking distance to Farmers Market and Waterfront Park. However, parking can be difficult to find. The atmosphere is generally laid-back, though it can be disrupted by loud customers at times, which may affect service. Despite this, the bartenders are attentive, and the friendly staff contribute to a great experience. Overall, Heroes American Cafe is a great spot for a meal or a casual gathering, with excellent food and a welcoming environment.
