No backpacks, so I guess if you're going to the convention, count this place out

Lulu’s definitely my favorite cocktail bar in Portland! The vibes are always immaculate.. would highly recommend checking the place out when you are in Portland.

Cocktails were uninspired (very derivative of classics); the food was a welcome option several rounds in although the Oklahoma burger was lacking in onion (it's named key ingredient).

My bro in law took me to Lulu for cocktails before a Cash Cash concert nearby, and I was so glad he did! The DJ was spinning some millennial rb hip hop we all love, the bathrooms were clean and spacious, and the lighting was perfect inside. Candlelight on the bar, no flashy bright lights behind the bar, and the dancefloor has a large spinning disco ball to keep things moving at the place.

The cocktail I had was "prettyugly", a very interesting and unique flavor mixed with mescal, yum! Also had espresso martinis, smooth and delightful to drink which gave us some power for the rest of the night!

Our bartender was present, attentive, fast, and kind. We can tell he was very capable and experienced. At the end, a second bartender spotted me finishing my water glass just in time. Great teamwork! Thanks LULU im looking forward to the next time I visit PDX

This place is an absolute gem, from the ambiance to the delicious food. Smash burger, rolls, wings, steak... everything was immaculate. The drinks were also fantastic and their mocktail menu was on point! Will be going back 100%

Curry with ribeye steak, chicken katsu bowl, and spring rolls were great. Bartender Josh was friendly and attentive. Atmosphere cool and sublime.

Food was meh. Cocktails were pretty good but expensive, could’ve been a lot better for the price. Bartender nice enough but could not get our orders right. Maybe couldn’t hear us but never mentioned that. Good atmosphere though.

The food was phenomenal, the drinks were amazing, the service was excellent, and the vibe was incredible. We had an amazing time. Rob was the bartender and he was so knowledgeable. Will definitely be back.

We went to Lulus for Valentines. I know this holiday is crazy for restaurants and stressful. With that said, the food was great and the person bringing the food to our table was super friendly and very apologetic for the delays. What was off putting was that we were told there is a strict 1.5 hour time limit (even though we had reservations) and there was no table service. We ordered at the bar, which was fine, but didn't make sense with such a strict time limit. The host actually walked up to our table, before we got all of our food, and said “excuse me, we have another reservation waiting.” I've never ever had anyone tell me that at a restaurant. It just makes for a bad experience...basically, they want t people to order, get food asap, eat as fast as you can and leave. Kind of crappy. If we were “allowed” to stay longer, we would have ordered more drinks and food. I think Lulus need to reevaluate how they handle reservations ...maybe take fewer reservations and get table service to help streamline food delivery and wait times. You can't have no table service, a strict time limit, and say you take reservations. It was a bad experience.

I made a reservation for a table, but when we got there we were seated at the bar. When booking, it did not specify table vs bar seating. I wanted to book a table, not bar seating. The food was fine and the cocktails were good, but definitely not worth the high price. The servers were very friendly but clearly were overwhelmed. They probably need more staff to accommodate.

Lovely cocktail bar. Food was tasty but some of the choices were a little weird and I found it expensive. Solid bar food, but I wouldn’t come here just to eat I think. The cocktails are definitely the reason to go! Ambiance is excellent, drinks are excellent. I’m doing dry January, and the bartender made me an awesome mocktail off-menu. Lovely people and such a cute place on a weekday. Absolutely empty on a Wednesday when I went, which is funny because I know this place is busy on a weekend! They easily made the Peruvian fries dairy free for me and my friend, really adaptable menu within reason it seems like.Peruvian fries were good but super messy. Fresh rolls were OK but I think they could have used some brightness and they fell apart when you tried to pick them up, super tasty sauces though. Ceviche was odd, flavors were yummy but it had fried calamari in it which didn’t make sense to me. Instead of dinner I’ll come here for snacks so just one plate or desert I think.

Rob and Josh are great. They have a way with conversation as they make my favorite cocktail in Portland. The Hemingway, mmmm OMG. You want to go there! Nice ambiance

It was my first time at Lulus the other day. I immediately adored the scenery and vibe — super cute, the perfect amount of lighting, adorable seating. I had the rib eye curry special and it was absolutely PERFECT in every way. I love when a bar can actually pull off not just good food — but Brilliant food. Wish this one wasn’t just a special ? Will be back to try the smash burger and wings. The bartender was lovely as well, great service the entire time.

I went for a company happy hour with 8 other people. We arrived right as the bar opened and there was no wait. Everyone enjoyed their drinks. Food was great, but only a few of the dishes were real highlights for me. Service was top notch.
