Mai Wah Restaurant

I ordered through UberEats and they forgot my fried rice order. The roll of the egg roll was way too thick and doughy. The pot stickers have a strange after taste and the friend wontons were not what I thought I was ordering (no stuffing inside) I ordered with several co-workers and everyone agreed that it was not a place we would ever order from again. 😬 also, when I called to ask for Spivey sauce or seasoning to be in the bag because their menu on UberEats does not give you an option to have it. The lady got an attitude before she hung up the phone. 🤷🏽‍♀️

First time getting food here in a long time! Decided to do Chinese food for Christmas Eve Dinner! We used to eat here in from early 90s until around 2011 probably 1-4 times per month. then from 2011 to 2019 was only able to come once every 3 months since I moved to WA. Today was the first time since around 2019! We always did dine in or take out probably 50/50 in the dining side. This place has changed a lot and not for the better.. The old bar side is closed and now the restaurant side is the bar! It is loud music and not peaceful like before... The food that was once awesome for decades is now Meh.. Our family always get family style with a mix of items but the must have was the General Tso Chicken. It used to be the best cause they don't use the traditional red sauce it is more a brown sauce. What used to make it great was the chicken had a nice glaze with a crispy texture. At least up until 2019. Since I have not been here in about 5 years something happened and changed. Now the General Tso has a slightly different flavor, the chicken is not crispy and not really a glaze it is just a ton of sauce pured on so all you taste is sauce and mushy chicken..
We also got other items that were again similar but just not as good as they used to me. Sweet and Sour Spare Ribs same issue seems like lower grade pork, Sauce is slightly different taste but still has the same unique color? I don't think we will ever come back cause this just kind of killed the Christmas eve Dinner..

I hadn't been here in years, and was surprised to see it's turned from a restaurant to a bar. Our waiter was so stoned I'm surprised he could function at all, but with some patience and a few reminders, we got what we needed.

WOW so ive eaten here off and on for years.. used to be a go-to! tonight i ordered some food to go.. ended up throwing it all in the trash! the bbq pork was BLACK, and the kung pao chicken looked and tasted like it had been sitting around for a few days..
wasnt worth driving all the way back to get a refund.. if you used to like this place, its probably time to think twice, and find a new spot :^/

It's basically just a bar with Chinese food, no real Chinese vibes besides the food which is actually really good. The later you go the louder it gets and the waitresses/bartenders are non existent unless you actually make your way to the bar and then interrupt the conversation he/she is having with friends or regulars while then being subject to rude service. It's not always bad like that but the majority of the time it is..

I ordered delivery here hoping for cheap greasy Chinese food, I did not have high expectations, but it was pretty bad. I got the hot n sour soup, it was okay but the chicken bits in it were dry, and it was so different from the usual hot n sour soup I have had elsewhere, it had a lot of pepper and was super acidic. I also got thechicken lovers combo with sweet and sour, orange and general tso’s chicken. The breading and sauce somehow made them all a gelatinous mess that stuck together and there were tough bits in the chicken pieces. The general tso’s chicken sauce was okay, but the orange and sweet and sour weren’t very tasty. Also the two complimentary fortune cookies were verystale
