Bariis
Flavor bomb to the senses, packed with spices and served with beef and potato suqar. Top with herbs, banana, and lemon wedge.
Ugali
Creamy polenta sauced with curry, topped with sukuma wiki.
Kachumbari Salad
Kenyan's go-to salad. Onions and tomatoes are bathed in lemon juice, mixed with whatever greens we have in hand(usually kale), and finished with cilantro.
Chapata
Chapata bread is soft, chewy, and simply delicious. Served with butter, garlic, and cilantro.
Stuffed Mandazi
Comes Stuffed with matoke curry, sukuma wiki, and beef and potatoes suqar. Top with herbs, and a side of lemon wedge.
Matoke Curry
Is rich in flavor, simple, healthy, and mouth-watering. Comes with a side of chapati and a top with herbs.
Sambusa
Hand-made pastry filled with spiced beef, potatoes, and vegetables. Served with our house-made lemon ginger vinegar.
Mandazi
Simple yet flavorful freshly baked bread. Served with curry sauce and a side of tea. Your taste buds will be dancing with joy.

If you've never had Kenyan food, you need it in your life. If you don't normally like vegan food, you should give it a try... it had no right being as amazing as it was.

First things first. Yes, this place is 100% vegan/ plant based and 100% worth the experience.The owner was one of the friendliest people we met in a long while. He made simply waiting for the food a pleasant experience.Next, the food was picturesque and delicious. The portions are larger than expected and held up well during the nearly hour drive home. Sorry for not having any pics. The food did not make it long enough for us to pull out the camera.We have never had Kenyan food...

Do yourself a favor and get the Bariis. You won’t be disappointed. It seems like an odd choice to try but trust me, try it.The fact that the food is vegan makes it even better.I know the cook will be selling his recipes in no time. -RA
