My guy has been looking for a good Italian joint on our side of town for a hot minute. I walked down to the beer porch and here it is! There are tons of vegetarian options here with a choice to add meat. I just tried the sole meatball ($3) but they sell them in larger quantities for less or you can add them to your pasta dish. I fully plan to go get meatball subs here-- I didn't want to enjoy it without my partner. The staff was tickled that I ordered just a meatball and they were swift for other orders I saw placed not just my silly one. They were actually invested in my enjoyment. The most gluten free and vegan options I've ever seen on an Italian menu, along with all the traditional classics! I also love that their gf pasta is made with chickpeas. Great food and kind service.Dietary restrictions: Many Gluten free and vegan options

I love Mangiamo! I order lunch from them at least once a week when I work down the street and the owner is the kindest! Great service, fantastic food, amazingly affordable prices!! You've got to check them out if you are in the North Portland area.

I am already quite plump, if I lived closer to this awesome food cart, I would double in size within a month. You have to appreciate home cooked food to love the food, it's not fancy, it's hearty. The chicken parm ($15) is comfort food at its finest. Did I mention it's Gluten free? I don't usually order garlic bread ($5) because I'm generally disappointed in what it tastes like, but go ahead and order theirs, you'll be glad you did, it's also GF.Looking forward to being in the area again so I can mangia, mangia!

Those were some good Cannolis! I'd love to see more desserts like Tiramisu on the menu! Arancini are also delightful. I haven't tried anything else yet.
