I went here for my very first time the other day. I was indecisive on what I wanted to order. So I asked for suggestions from the guy taking my order (Julian), who was filling some delicious looking cannoli when I walked up. As an East Coaster with an Italian heritage, finding Italian food that reminds me of home has been a bit of an uphill battle here in Portland. However, one trip to Mangiamo changed all that as their dishes taste nearly IDENTICAL to those my Gram used to serve. I've only had two things on the menu but plan to make several more trips to the Chill n' Fill to try everything they have on the menu.

I recently moved into the neighborhood and their meatball sub has been my go to comfort food. I recently stopped eating meat and had their eggplant parm sandwich. What a great portion. Even my meat eating husband had to steal a couple bites. Amazing service and great quality food 🙂
