So fresh. So delicious. So convenient. So affordable. So.... You like sushi? You'll love it after a first bite.
Quick and affordable. Wish it had more options on the belt.
Is this place closed? They never answer the phone
Killer spicy tofu roll here."Sadly, they are sometimes closed during business hours without warning. (It's happened to me three times in the past five months, which seems unusual.)
Here's a little tea about this restaurant, y'all. All of the old managers and their old sushi chefs have quit. The waiters complain 24/7, and eventually quit because of poor management. They constantly are closed without warning to the staff or customers, so you might show up thinking it's open only for the window front to say they're “understaffedâ€. This is crazy, because I actually worked there, quit, and tried to come back when the manager changed because I thought things would be different, and they needed people who knew the place. They didn't hire me! Because I didn't have my liquor license? Weird. They never even asked for my food handlers card when I first worked there, and let me serve alcohol. Speaking of, they have people younger than me (18) serve it instead. All that aside, I know some of the servers and they are wonderful kind people who work hard. The sushi is good- the asparagus roll is my favorite and they do it well. Two stars because of management.
I've been here at least 20 times. Came back in from out of town and this was the only place I wanted to eat. Don't be afraid to order off the menu! Fresh food where you can see them slice the fish in front of you! I talk about this place wherever I travel, it's really that good.
I love the staff here, they make me feel welcome and acomodate to the best if their abilities. The food is amazing and never fails to satisfy.
Delicious fresh sushi at low price with helpful, attentive staff in a relaxing playful setting. I've been eating sushi all over the West coast, but this location in particular is phenomenonally good. The freshness of the ingredients and the quick turnaround between preparation and my plate means that every bite is enjoyed at its peak. The staff will immediately prepare for you anything that's not on the belt, just ask. Their fried mackerel is spectacular, and I also enjoyed the salmon roe and fatty tuna (negitoro) hand rolls. Highly recommended.
It was closed when I got there at 1:09 pm. A sign was up saying would return at 4:30. There was food left out on the track unattended. No one was around inside that I could see. A new menu was up with new prices; most things had been hiked extremely. Another sign showed new hours including cutting out weekends. When I walked by again at 4:03 on my way to the bus -I checked my phone- the food was still on the track. That is unsafe and unsanitary. It was probably still served to people. This place has gone downhill. I used to love it and come here often. Sometimes my friends and I would come in out of the rain for a hot bowl of miso and some inari. Not anymore. Closed, empty and unhealthy.
Good food. Nice staff

8pm on a Friday night and there was no food out, even though the restaurant is at 50% capacity. We order almost immediately and don't get our first plate for 30 minutes, the last plate didn't show up for another 15 minutes. Diners that came in 15 minutes after us were getting their orders before us too.
Staff are nice but the quality of sushi is concerning. Every time I visit it seems worse. I had just assumed I was visiting at the wrong time or day but I think my last visit will be my final. I have been to this particular location (Lloyd Center area) at least 2 or 3 dozen times over the last 10 years and it has gone downhill dramatically. The staff were so friendly and kind, I think that is important to point out. However, it has become dirty & run down and the food was clearly not fresh. Browned avacado, dried out looking rice etc... The Clackamas, downtown and Vancouver locations are much more pleasurable to visit.
All the things
Very cheap! But if you like good sushi, it will be really hard for you to enjoy this place.
The sushi is not to expensive and has great tasting seafood.
