We had the three course special. I had the chicken confit , and my husband had the artichoke paella. It is painfully obvious that there is not a chef, but a short order to cook in the back and that these are premade and extremely over salted. It was very convenient for us to go to the theater afterwards, but we would definitely not eat there again .
Great vibe and food close to the theaters. They have a fixed 3 course menu if you need to get out in an hour, as well as a full menu offering. We got the seasonal hummus to start (it was smoked paprika) and I got the artichoke paella (so good!). Although it is in a hotel, it DOES NOT feel like a hotel restaurant. They have a great space and can accommodate large groups.
I stumbled upon Mayrose while wandering downtown and was immediately drawn in by its cool, chill vibe. It is located inside the Duniway Hotel and has an atmosphere that is both stylish and relaxed, perfect for a late morning bite.
