Rude lady with brown hair working there... I used to go there regularly with my large family but now we won't be going there again after a few run ins

Look up professional bartender, coupled with grace, class and Wikipedia and you’ll see JoJo’s picture. What a class guy! Knowledgeable of all the cool places that McM has as well as places around Portland.

Person who said eat here at your own risk was completely right. Once again “down a person”. Stood at the front waiting to be helped for 15 minutes. Got tired of it and walked up to the bar to ask about my online order. Which should’ve been ready. Then continued to sit in the lobby for 40 more minutes. I will never be coming to this McMenamins again.

Service at this location is mediocre. The waitress was flighty. We asked for ketchup and never received it for our tator tot appetizer.

The food is ok. I had the bean/rice bowl and it was bland. The beans were more like a redried bean than a black bean and it's white rice.

They have a gyro which I would recommend getting here if you like gyros.

Both those dishes are too Americanized.

Better off getting beer, burgers and fries here, but this is the second Mcmenamins location we've been to in the last few months and both locations didn't have the best wait staff service. So I don't recommend Mcmenamins if you want good service.

Plus their prices are very expensive anymore!

Our family came here for Happy Hour on Sunday after a Terrible weekend. It was restorative—great food and drinks, a relaxing atmosphere, and the kindest host/server. The whole family feels better now.

Eat here at your own risk. You'll be waiting an abysmally long time to get your food.

My experience: I ordered a caesar salad. When it came without chicken, I asked the waitress to please add chicken. She said she'd call the kitchen and have it come right out.

Half an hour later (no exaggeration) I asked the waitress where the chicken was, at which time she said they were down a person and the kitchen was incredibly backed up. It took them 42 minutes (I timed it) to get a simple piece of grilled chicken to our table, after we were led to believe the chicken would be "right out."

I wish I could say this is the only time this happened, but it isn't. They seem to always "be down a person" in the kitchen.

Long story short: Don't eat here. Maybe if enough people stop eating here, they'll learn how to properly staff a kitchen, or at least learn to tell their patrons the kitchen is short-staffed BEFORE they order their food.

Really lovely servers there. My friend and myself are picky people & that's not easy on servers, so it's nice to go somewhere together and be treated well regardless.

Wonderful team and good food for our large party. Our friends and kids had a lovely meal, we will be back soon. Thanks to Matt and the whole crew for their welcoming and fun team and atmosphere they create!
