The food was pretty decent but it was very expensive

Kid-friendliness: You could take a kid here. But its geared more towards people 30s+

Food is delicious. I have tried about 7 things on the menu now and really enjoyed them. Their hummus and pita are to die for and a must order. They also have a well rounded dessert menu that is great. The first time I came the service was great and very attentive. The second time the service was lacking specifically from our server, but the other servers and support staff were great. It took awhile to have our order taken and we were never checked on while enjoying our meal. I will be back for the food though as there are a few items I still want to try!

Everything was good, but not mind blowing. The service was great, the cocktails were a little lacking. The Hamachi Crudo was our favorite!

The eggplant dip was great snd the pita was soo soft and fresh. The falafel was nice. I didn’t like that signature dish of Feta something that everyone here said was good

Most of the food is tasty, but for the price, there are better examples of this style of cuisine. Standouts include the grilled carrots, radicchio salad, seared chicken and arugula salad, chocolate coconut ice cream. The menu is meant to be eaten family style, so best to go with at least four people. The service was very professional but there were long lags in food coming out (the kitchen is very busy).

A great place for shareable plates. A little different taste than an Americanized traditional Mediterranean with more vegetarian options and unique flavors and spices. The service was great and small shareable plates allow everyone to taste different options.

Terrific food that trickled out randomly. Several items were wrong or missing. Staff seemed distracted or over burdened. The space seemed down market for such an expensive menu. I'll go again but I won't expect great service or ambiance, and neither should you.

Good food and ambiance, but meats are WAY OVERPRICED. $33 for 4 small bites maybe 4oz total of hangar steak. This would the a reasonable price if it were Japanese A5 Wagyu which it is not.

We visited the Mediterranean Exploration Company last night to celebrate our anniversary. As we walked in, we were greeted by the host, who took us to our table. The table was extremely cramped, so we politely asked if we could move to a bigger table to sit next to each other. Unfortunately, this request seemed to upset her, even though there were plenty of empty tables, and it never got busy while we were there.

We apologized for any inconvenience, but she gave us the cold shoulder throughout the evening. When my partner thanked her for accommodating us, she didn’t even respond. Her demeanor was cold and unwelcoming, which made things feel awkward.

On a positive note, the food was spectacular, and our server was attentive and kind. However, as the first point of contact, the host plays a significant role in setting the tone for the dining experience. Sadly, her attitude overshadowed what could have been a completely wonderful evening

Visited on new year's day for dinner. Tried the fixed menu with about 9 different courses. The food was good but for $100 a head I think it could be better. The lamb chops were a bit dry on the outside. The kebab was overcooked and too hard to bite. The octopus was like rubber with little flavor. Greek greens was not tasty and a bit bitter - I think it did not complement the menu too well. Another dish that did not go well with the fixed menu was the sugar coated almonds served as dessert. I would expect baklava, kadayif or turkish delight to finish at least. Also, Turkish coffee would also be a nice ending. Hummus and the pita bread were great. Falafel was also good. Loved the fresh and crunchy cabbage salad. 2022 Cabernet was also fantastic. Service was excellent and fast.

Amazing food and wonderful staff, but man is it loud in here.

Highly recommend the hamachi crudo.

We showed up for dinner at 7:30 on a Thursday and nobody in my party could hear a word each other were saying until other parties started clearing out around 8:30. If you’re hard of hearing, don’t go during peak hours.

Great experience all round at MEC. Friendly and attentive service with a nice casual/laidback feeling. Server's recommendations were spot on. 5 of us dining and she recommended between 9-11 dishes. We went with 9 dishes and we were all perfectly satiated. The roasted cauliflower was the only 3 star dish. Portion size was incredible, but the texture and amount of sauce wasn't right. The 4 stars for Atmosphere was because the music was just a touch too loud which then causes a roll on effect of everyone in the restaurant needing to talk loud. Other than that, great space with great food!
