We got a super early reservation on Friday and still the place filled quickly. Best meal we’ve had there. Lots of delicious gluten free and dairy free options! We loved the fennel salad and the chermoula grilled shrimp. The jazz / funk playlist was perfect and our server (Pete) was wonderful.

Plan ahead and make a reservation! We went at 7pm on a Wednesday and it was packed. Some items were mind blowing, some were mediocre, but I will 100% recommend this restaurant to all of my friends. Radicchio salad 10/10, Crispy Lamp Hummus 8/10 (good flavor, creamy and spicy, but needs way more lamb crispies, there was maybe a teaspoon on the side and the portion seemed especially small for $18), Fresh Pita 10/10 (soft, warm, thick), Octopus (my friend said it was super tender and amazing, but could use a little more char on the outside), Brick Chicken 6/10 (Honestly, New Season rotisserie chicken is more flavorful and juicy - pretty underwhelming), Bacon Wrapped Dates 8/10 (sweet, salty, tender. The herb honey was amazing to dip other things in, but the soggy almond in the middle we all didn't eat), Falafel 4/10 (falafel is falafel I guess, it was really dry and bland, we ate 2.5 out of the 6 - not worth $18), Heavy Meadow cocktail 9/10 (tastes like a floral candle...but in a good way? Very interesting). We had 5 drinks, 6 food items and a dessert and it was just over $200 for 3 people and we left full and with a small togo box.

This place is my fiancé’s favorite restaurant in Portland, so I was super excited to try it for my birthday when we were passing through. It was absolutely amazing! We loved the snap peas, lamb hummus, the moroccan chicken, and the grilled octopus. Delicious and unique food with great service!! Highly recommend sitting at the chefs counter if you can, it’s fun to watch the magic happen :)

Had the best dinner last night. This place is still one of my favorites in Portland. Everything was absolutely delicious and the service was all around spectacular!
I went in and it was a bit of a wait so I asked to do a take out order. Service was great. When I got home…wow incredible. Everything was incredibly fresh. Super tasty flavors. Got lamb, hummus, and the rice/lentils. LOVED it all. They know what they’re doing.
