We love this place , or we did until they took their gyoza off the menu! Would be 5 stars if we were not so disappointed :(

Food was ok. I wasn’t expecting stellar based on previous reviews. Decent price. Ordered delivery and one of our items was missing and one was wrong. We ended up with a salad we didn’t order. The chef’s choice sashimi was almost all tuna and one salmon, was disappointing. PDX roll was the best part. Can’t review the calamari because they forgot to give it to us. Probably won’t order from there again.

I found Nemo!
Great lunch special and solid sushi rolls. Nemo is still swimming inside the space.

Y’all don’t go there, there is a waiter she is so rude and ignorant she forced me to tip her and she was yelling even when she served the food she just threw the plates she was completely rude bruh why are you even hiring these kind of people ?!
This is a decent sushi restaurant. The sushi is decent and the soup is pretty salty, but enjoyable. I'm surprised by the prices, seems they are on the spending side for not so fancy sushi. It is decent though. It would be really nice if the atmosphere were not so bright. I would go here again if I didn't have a budget and needed something quick.

STANDARD SUSHI
UPDATE: Inconsistent service, inaccurate delivery of order, and very slow to allow for payment. What used to be a good spot for a quick lunch break meal is now not.
The fancy authentic sushi spot a block away wouldn’t seat me even with open tables so I walked over to Oishii Mika to try it out. This is a very good “standard” Portland sushi bar and an awesome place to grab a lunch bento. They get their fish from the same vendors most other spots do (I only know of a couple that fly their fish in from Japan).
The creamy scallop handroll is among the best I’ve ever had. It’s a guilty pleasure of mine and I tend to order it at each new spot.
Bento was phenomenal. Very reasonably priced and each item perfectly prepared. I will try the Saba bento next time for sure.

REALLY fresh sushi, and yummy food in all. Presentation was really cute. And the aquarium and little jokes on the chalkboard above make a cute atmosphere! The waiter was really sweet.

Best sushi in Portland! Sushi is always fresh and delicious, prices are fair for the quality and service is great.

I recently dined at Oishii Sushi Restaurant, and my experience was quite disappointing due to the poor service. Despite the restaurant not being overly busy, it took an unusually long time for our server to take our order, and when the food finally arrived, several items were missing. We had to repeatedly remind the staff about our incomplete order, and the waitstaff seemed inattentive and unorganized, with minimal effort to check on our table or refill our drinks. Additionally, when we raised concerns about the quality of one of the dishes, the response was dismissive and unhelpful. While the sushi itself was decent, the overall dining experience was marred by the lack of attentive and efficient service.

I've been here twice, each time getting takoyaki and some kind of chicken katsu. It's fantastic, and I will visit as often as my wallet allows while I live in Portland.

Went primarily for nigiri so this review is about that rather than their wide selection of rolls, variety of don, and tempura.
For those that like to eat a lot of sushi but don't have a big budget this place has a strong balance of fish quality, price, and variety.
I went at a lull in customer traffic so they kindly waited on me. However it looks like you can also order via QR code which might be handier if you have a tendency to order more.
